  1. I think that he will be consulting a team of Psychiatrists to help him cope with this situation, but I am betting that he suffers some sort of pschic break during Spring Training.
  2. "They told me that it was Vitamin B-12. I should have gotten suspicious when my testicles shriveled up like raisins."
  3. ARod's Ex must be having a good laugh over this. I wonder if she threatened to leak the in fo when negotiating the divorce settlement.
  4. This really warms up a frigid February day.
  5. IMO at some point ARod will do a mea culpa and swear that he only used roids a couple of times in 2003. Of course, many will believe him.
  6. Let's not forget how many times he spiked the baseball into the ground and the time he argued with the ump as runs were scoring.
  7. The delusions on NYYFans.com abound.
  8. I did a double take when I saw that post too. I guess he is baseballs hope for the future.:dunno:
  9. I think it is likely that Clemens was using in his last season with the Red Sox. His body started changing and his performance was rejuvenated in the second half.
  10. nyyfans.com: Of course MLB would want to destroy its most valuable franchise. That makes sense. Whiney freaking Yankee fans!
  11. Williams had hit more than 40 homers in a year earlier in his career. Thirty-eight was not a career high for him. In fact, none of his numbers that year were that far off Williams career norms except the .388 (compared to .344 career BA). None of it represented a marked increase in performance. Williams with his 20/10 vision was a complete freak of nature. His performance at age 38 was so unusual that you had to go back 50 years to find a good example. That should tell you something right there. Players in their late 30's as a general rule decline precipitously in performance.
  12. MLB must be hating this. Bonds is gone from the game. McGwire is in exile. Sosa is gone. ARod will be around for maybe 8 or so years as a constant reminder of the Roids era. Nothing he accomplishes will ever wipe away the stain. The game will carry the stain until he's gone.
  13. Peculiar timing of his advancing age?
  14. Steroids build muscle and lean out any fat. Most users have very little fat content. Ortiz has a chubby belly, and if anyone is wondering about Manny, get a copy of the 2004 World Series DVD and you will see the rolls of fat around his midsection.
  15. There were no penalties for cheating in 2003. Would that be considered an oxymoron?
  16. But it just seems to keep biting the Yankees. No excuses here al la the whiney complaints about the Mitchell Report that the two major sources were NY guys (McNamee and Radomski). I can hardly wait for the criminal conviction of those two pigs Clemens and Bonds.
  17. LMAO over the 60 minutes interview.
  18. Just in time for Spring Training. There should be about 800 reporters waiting for him at his locker in Tampa. He'll probably need about 3 more shrinks. i expect that he'll hit .260 and make 40+ errors this season. I never understood the universal acceptance of the notion that he was clean. He must of had dozens of writers and media members on his payroll.
  19. So much for the reverence in which he was being held, because he supposedly had been clean.
