  1. Just a little tense. I'm pissed that I'm not at the game. I had tickets to this game since December, but I had to give them up.
  2. Reddick PHing. Tito going for the heavy lumber
  3. Sorry. I forgot your love for Tito.
  4. After 3 HRs by Lind, he gets plunked on the elbow. I guess one of our guys goes down tomorrow.
  5. What possible benfit possibly have been gained from letting Buchholz give up 5 HRs? It's a nice outing for him to think about as he prepares for the post season. Every time I look up tonight Millar is doing something. He is going to need to be iced from head to toe after the game. This is the most activity he has had all season.
  6. Of course Tito had to leave Buchholz in for that 5th HR. f***ing idiot.
  7. Oh. maybe I am wrong and it wasn't you s***ing all over yourself when the team was injured and slumping.
  8. Dipre, you have no sense of humor at all when the Sox are getting bitch slapped. I think it is pretty funny that this guy seems to hurt himself more when he is sleeping than when he is pitching. I apologize by injecting some humor by calling him the Princess and the Pea. However, I am concerned that this so-called sleeping injury took three cortisone shots in the back. When the f*** has anyone heard of a player getting 3 cortisone shots on the same day. That doesn't sound good. He has pretty much sucked since the All Star Break anyway. The last time I saw Lester he was rolling around on the mound grabbing his leg. To top it all off Buchholz gives up a month of HRs in 5 innings. I'm not feeling great about our pitching right now. Should I?
  9. When our pitchers give up shots to Kevin Millar, that never leaves me with a good feeling. And by the way go f*** yourself. Weren't you in a panic throwing in the towel on the team in the middle of August or earlier? You're trying to make me seem negative. I thought we had a shot at the Division up until a week ago. So please don't be calling me negative.
  10. And my confidence in him is just soaring too.
  11. Maybe they can start him in game 1 since Lester has a bad leg and the Princess and the Pea had 3 cortisone shots in his back. That doesn't sound good. Maybe this will be the playoff rotation; Buchholz, Dice K, Wakefield and Byrd. I'm gagging just thinking of the possibility. Probably would give Example a cluster headache.
  12. Tonight --5 HRs in his tune up start before the playoffs. Did you watch the game. He served up more meatballs than served at all Vinny T locations tonight.
  13. 3 HRs by Lind. I'm not looking forward to seeing Buchholz on the mound in the post season.
  14. How many meatballs is Tito going to let him serve up? Isn't 7 usually the magic # for Tito to go to the pen?
  15. Odds against Kotchman getting a hit with RISP 100 to 1. Should have been an easy DP. Pitcher waiting for a bus on the mound.
  16. Why is Pedroia making a stupid ass move like that on the bases? WTF?
  17. True story, when Yaz was told that he needed open heart triple bypass surgery, he asked the doctor if he could just take a pill. Legend has it that after the surgery he removed the surgical staples with a spoon they gave him to eat jello then he rubbed some dirt on it and left the hospital under his own power.
  18. Very encouraging outing by Buchholz as we approach the playoffs.
  19. he sucks. Banjo hitter that runs like he is carrying a piano on his back.
  20. He was a 4 pack a day man
  21. both ends of a doubleheader and without any sleep after a cross country flight on a an old prop plane.
  22. The Pricess and the Pea. Just another prima dona diva among today's players. He has the team record for injuries resulting from sleeping.
  23. And after Buchholz's terrible performance in 2008 he had ruined his value as a trading chip until he rehabilitated himself in AAA this season. Bowden is in a similar position, so I am not over-reacting. He has to prove himself just like Buchholz did. He's not going to get a rotation spot out of spring training no matter what he does. The one difference between Buchholz and Bowden is that Clay has much better pure stuff.
  24. I think he pitched only one game for the Sox in '08. I'm not advocating that he be traded. He pretty much wrecked his offseason trade value with his imitation of a pinata. They have to hope he bounces back in AAA. I hope that his putrid performance puts to rest the thought that he provides us with depth in the rotation.
  25. Yeah, I'm over-killing it, but I really was one of the lone voices that thought he had something left. There were times that I doubted he would pull out of it, but when I saw him up close one game in May, I could see that he could still whip the bat through the zone. His bat went through the zone as fast as anyone else on the team, but his timing and pitch recognition were horrible.
