    More nothing from Pedroia. We can't win if he doesn't get it going at the plate. He is the catalyst that Damon used to be for the Sox. Without those guys getting on, it is much easier to neutralize the big sticks.

    I'm hoping that I have to eat crow about Buchholz starting in an elimination game. He has 1 victory in 7 starts against teams with winning records, so I don't think he has earned the opportunity.

    it makes me sick that Manny is winning playoff games for someone other than the Sox. The fact that i despise the Dodgers makes it even worse. Thank goodness he is not playing for the Yankees.

    When Rincon was obviously blowing up in the 8th, he had no place else to turn. He'd already used his only other reliable guy. He was out of options. If he'd have had Balfour, he might have gone to him when it was becoming obvious that Rincon was s***ing the bed. Did the move cost him the game? Neither you nor I know how it would have turned out if he had kept Santana in the game, but it was a terribly wrong and stupid move.

    I mainly watch the Twins play the Yankees and the Red Sox, and when they play the Yanks he makes lots of wrong moves. That's what I am saying about him. I don't care what a great baseball guy he is and how much he gets out of his talent. He is only relevant to me when the Twins play the Yanks and teh Sox, and from what I have observed over the last several years is that the Twins would be no worse off if he skipped all the Yankee games.

    Game time temperature is expected to be 31 degrees with snow. Rather than reschedule the game tomorrow afternnon when it might be a little warmer, they have scheduled it for 10 p.m. EDT. f***ing idiots!

    When Doji has a weak argument, which is just about all the time, he tries to take you off on tangents to argue those instead of the main point. When he agrees with me, I usually rethink my position.

    This is a pet peeve of mine. I don't know why all stadiums built in this day and age don't have retractable roofs. If small market teams like Toronto and Milwaukee have them, why were two new stadiums built in NY without roofs at tremendous expense to the taxpayers? Corruption.

    I am agreeing with you again. You are really getting smart. Soon posters will be calling you old-timer. We don't know how much of Bay's production in Pittsburgh came when his team was down by a bunch of runs and out of the game. Plus, it is just a much lower pressure environment.
