  1. Coke isn't the go to lefty anymore. Marte has taken that spot. I don't know how Girardi justifies that.
  2. Oh, Bucholz and a few prospects would have landed Lee. Don't you think?
  3. Lol! I should have said that I pined for either. Although there were rumors that the Phillies had a realistic possibility of landing Halladay after getting Lee.
  4. I pined for both. Lee got traded early in the process, so why would I have kept pining for him. You seriously think that I didn't want Lee?
  5. Of course we couldn't get this guy.
  6. I give Lee the ball until he gives up a base runner.
  7. The pen botched that inning.
  8. Wow, that was nonchalant. He looked like he didn't care if he caught it.
  9. The kangaroo court got it right.
  10. It's the Yankees. I hope one of their players-- preferably Jeter-- gets blinded by one of those pies.
  11. I'm worried that the great Pedro may not be equal to this task. I'd hate to see him get humiliated, but I 'd like to see him drill Jorge in the middle of the back.
  12. Holes is the perfect fit. Thanks for the fix.
  13. No crossing of swords or any guy contact. We stay in our neutral corners.
  14. Spud and I ought to take turns spanking you.
  15. When he pitched in Boston, it was a huge event. All eyes were on him. Everyone else in the game served as a back drop. He has to miss that.
  16. What about adultery with a Hooker? Gom should weigh in on this.
  17. I bet with my head not my heart. When the playoffs started, I wanted to bet the Yankees to go all the way, but my betting site was only taking LDS and LCS bets, so I bet the Yankees to win the ALCS. The only team that I thought that had a chance to beat them was the Phillies, but I wasn't sure that they would get past the Dodgers or Cards. Of course, I thought the Sox had a chance to win, but I would have gladly parted with my money to see that happen. I think the World Series odds are out of whack, but Vegas is usually right. I still haven't decided what to do, because of the small payout for a Yankee win. If I let it ride and I lose, it will give me one more reason to hate them.
