You and Example will get along splendidly.
Here's something to consider. If the Red Sox take a pass on RH, and the Yankees sign him, how many World championships do they win in the next 3 years?
If the Red Sox don't pull the trigger on a deal for Halladay, I wouldn't be surprised if the Yankees swooped in and got him. That would firmly establish the Yankees dominance in 2010 and maybe for a few years beyond.
I never start any name calling... ever. If i do it, it is always in retaliation. I have zero tolerance for Yankee band wagoners coming here and acting like this with a couple of dozen posts. He should be banned as I was not the only one he spewed insults at yesterday. Some how you equate my opinion of Babe Ruth with a personal insult. It is not. You need to know the difference.
I call out my Red Sox brethren when they step over the line on the rule, so Yankee trash should expect the same.
The Yankees won the Championship. They will not have the desperation they have had in past offseasons. I don't expect them to do much. Maybe they swap out Damon for Bay or Holliday, but I honestly don't think that would improve their team.
29 posts and you are making personal insults and breaking rules on this forum. It's time for you to take your rings and leave. I think we should have zero tolerance for Yankee Bandwagonners like you.

Let me go on record as saying: Who gives a s***.
Since I hate Buchholz, let's make him the topic of the bet. Here's my prediction for his 2010 if he stays with the Sox:
14 wins, 10 losses, 4.15 ERA, 165 K's, 181 Innings
One beer for each category.
You clearly can't read. I showed that his percentage of starts that were QS was not that great. Something like 60% or so and I pointed out that a bag of sit like Penny had a percentage in the 50's. That was meant to illustrate that Buchholz's performance was somewhere between star like Halladay with a QS percentage probably around 80% and a bag of s*** like Penny at 50%. It was not a comparison to penny, but that's too deep for you.
Yes, yes yes. I hate Buchholz. His face makes me sick. I despise him. i don't care if he goes 20-0 and breaks Gibson's 1968 ERA of 1.12. Yes, that's a weight off me.
From your post #1949 in this thread where you quoted my post from November 18th. What does "encouraging" mean to you?
That's how I felt on November 18th, and I stand by it today.
