    I agree that he was better than his W-L record, but even based on that standard he was good enough to get in. He has more wins than many other HOFers.

    Blyleven is truly deserving. He still has the best curveball that I have seen. He threw it at different speeds. He would buckle the knees of the best RH hitters. Alomar was one of the very best all round second baseman that I have seen in my life. I think it was a terrible oversight that Bobby Grich is not on the ballot, because he didn't get enough votes in his first year of eligibility. He was a great defender, and he was one of the first second basemen that was an offensive force.

    I was seriously considering him throughout. He had the same surgery as Beltran. I opted for Beltran despite the hefty price tag, because he had already returned to the playing field and his return took longer than expected. The Guardians are on record that they will not rush him. I had plenty of room under the cap. I had considered taking them both for a brief second. Ideally, I wanted to get Tori Hunter and then I would have put Sizemore on my bench. He has a lot of upside once he gets back on the field.
