  1. It will turnaround when Pedroia gets hot and shakes this slump. He's killing us in the 2 hole in front of AGon.
  2. Getting blooped to death.
  3. Joe West is a pompous stupid f***.
  4. Pedroia has been sucking.
  5. Tek with a lead off double? Am I seeing things?
  6. Francona will wait until he has a hot streak and then he'll put him in the 2-hole when he starts another slump.
  7. He doesn't strike me as a workout fanatic.
  8. Let's hope Lowrie stays healthy and plays everyday until Scutaro gets back. The last thing we need is a second automatic out in the lineup. We always have one playing catcher.
  9. Big day for Jeter. 4-4 and 2 HRs.
  10. After sitting for a week, Bautista hits a Home Run in his first game back.
  11. Ortiz is our best hitter not named AGon.
  12. He's been a shutdown closer his entire career except for 2010.
  13. It's typical Yankee luck to face a team when it's big guns are DL'd. Hamilton is still out and now Nelson Cruz is out too.
  14. Yes, true. It's been a rough year. I guess that's why seeing a win at Fenway felt so good today. That, plus my daughter graduated from Northeastern on Friday with a degree in Chemical Engineering. My dad was would have been so proud. That was his field, and traditionally, it has not been a big field for women.
  15. After a few more starts, there will be earth on top of him.
  16. It's the song and Papelbon milks the entrance to psyche himself up. I used to enjoy the entrance even more when it started out with Wild Thing and switched to Shipping Up to Boston when he reached the skin part of the IF. Have you seen in person Papelbon pitch at Fenway?
  17. I was at today's game and despite the rain delay and the damp cool weather that followed, the Sox played well and even though he did not get a save opportunity, I always enjoy Papelbon's entrance. It is the greatest entrance in Boston sports history. I guess my really good mood has me chuckling at things that I wouldn't otherwise chuckle at.
  18. Saltalamacchia batting ahead of Crawford and Cameron hitting 6th? Jeesh!!
