  1. Walking the bases loaded. That's a recipe to end up in the minors. They should bring up Millwood to see if he can get people out. Otherwise, release him.
  2. Miller walks too many guys to be successful.
  3. The current crop of catchers is pretty sucky. Salty is in his element.
  4. AGon never should have participated in the HR Derby-- not coming off shoulder surgery.
  5. Ryan Dempster would be good at the bottom of the rotation.
  6. I've also said that I'd be happy if he hit .250 for the season taking into consideration that he stinks, so i don't know why you are arguing with me. I'm not unhappy with Salty. He can't help it if he stinks.
  7. Just because most players at his position stink, and many stink worse than Salty, doesn't mean that Salty doesn't stink.
  8. Is Ortiz starting to serve his suspension?
  9. Our upcoming rotation is Wakefield, Weiland, Miller and Lackey. Yuk!
  10. I watched the game in Chicago so iI saved an hour. Today, I am going to Wrigley to see Halladay pitch against the Cubs.
  11. The only thing that I disagree with in this post is the Sox need to platoon at DH. Ortiz is hitting lefties better than most RH hitting options.
  12. I think when the Sox last played the Jays the Sox were giving two set of signs even when there were no runners on base. I think Remy vaguely mentioned some suspicions.
  13. The sold a portion of the team because they were having trouble making payroll. They had received money from MLB in 2010 to help their liquidity problems. They came back the following year and MLB told them that they were cutting them off and left them with no alternative other than to take on a partner. The $200 million they got from the new partners is not a sign of financial health. It is quite the opposite. They have to repay the $200 in 2 years or lose control of the team. It is estimated that they will lose $79 million this year. The facts are pretty clear. They need money, not prospects.
  14. Jeter is back and ARod is gone. As expected the Yankees start to slump.
  15. You don't wait until the guy walks 5 guys in less than 3 innings.
  16. If Tito hadn't let the starter give up 7, we might have been able to come back and win this game.
  17. Is this: consistent at all with this: Go pick your fight elsewhere. You are back on ignore.
  18. Post a picture of yourself so you can get banned again. I am putting you on my ignore list. You'll be gone soon enough because you just can't help yourself. edit: You are the first poster that I have put on the list in over 25,000 posts.
  19. There have been plenty of stories speculating that they will ultimately have to sell the team. The recently invested partner has placed a sizable wager on that outcome. Didn't you read about that either? Did you read that they had borrowed money from MLB, and that MLB cut them off and told them to take on a partner? You haven't changed a bit.
  20. 4 homers by our guys tonight and we are getting our brains beat out.
