Reddick is still struggling. A platoon of Reddick and DMac is just not going to cut it.

Wow! I am impressed that you knew this. But the again your cat is named Yaz. I just can't believe that he is that old. I remember him in 1967.

We need to get a break.

We have no hitters in the lineup.

I don't think you are a vegetarian, because you only eat Dairy Cows.

This series is going to be painful enough without the umps missing calls like the play by Reddick.

No Ortiz, Ellsbury and Youkilis against the Rangers. Little chance of success.
  12. a700hitter
Without Ortiz and Youkilis, I'll be very happy to split in Texas.

    Marlins suck so bad.

Mike Cameron goes deep off Heath Bell to tie the game 3-3 in the 9th.

Coco loses a ball in the sun. He always had trouble in day games. i noticed that when I first saw him in Ft. Myers and he hasn't improved.

Lester held them down through 6 and the offense got a handful of runs through 6 and insurance late. Lester and Beckett need to carry them for a while. The Texas series could be ugly unless Ortiz sheds his boot and Ellsbury comes back. Reddick 0-4 with 2 k's. He's now under .300. I'm not hating on the kid. He has a live bat and he's a good fielder with a strong arm, but slumps like this by a kid have to be expected. The So x are rolling the dice that he will make the necessary adjustments and start hitting again. I am risk averse. I'd still get someone to play RF. I don't think DMac is the answer. Edit: From the Globe after the game: • Josh Reddick's road to the Hall of Fame has hit a new bumps. He is hitting .226 in August with four RBIs. The Game 1 playoff starter in right field could be just about anybody at this point. The candidates include Reddick, J.D. Drew, McDonald, Ryan Kalish and the ever popular Mystery Guest Off The Waiver Wire.

Lester needs to be an ace tomorrow. He and Beckett need to get the team through the injuries to the offense without going into a big slump. We need them to hold teams to 3 or fewer runs, because this offense is not going to produce more than a handful of runs.

It is taking its toll on the pen.
  21. a700hitter
No, he's really only 44. He just plays like he is 90.
  22. a700hitter
That's what we'll need. We only have 5 regulars in the lineup and Crawford , Scutaro and Salty have been slumping.

The pen hasn't done anything tonight. Albers arm has turned to spaghetti from overuse.

Wake's ERA is over 5. He does suck. f*** his 200th win. He could lose his spot to Miller is this continues.
