43 first inning pitches. Good god!! That's so ridiculous. His first inning command sucks.

Giving up three runs in the 1st inning is bad enough, but by laboring for 40 pitches he has made himself a nonfactor, at best, in this game. Even if our offense catches fire and puts up some runs, Lester will need the pen for about 4 innings. He didn't ace up today. He s*** the bed the minute he left the bullpen.

3-0 in the first inning. Some f***ing stopper!! He couldn't even keep them off the board for 1 inning. 4 runs against Shield isn't going to be easy.

If Lester has another 40 pitch inning like he had in NY, he will only be able to go 5 and they will eat up our bullpen.

Losing today would terrible not just because it put the Rays right on our doors step, but it also because Lester will not pitch for another 5 games. We will have to roll s*** out to the mound for the next 4 games.

Mainly injuries are to blame, but almost equally important was a failure to reinforce the team at the trading deadline to provide insurance against injuries. Poor fundamental play and on field managerial decisions have also played a part.

I don't tell him that he sucks or anything else mean when I send him my Christmas card. I will rip him an ******* here when he sucks, but I don't think he comes here to check in with us. Speaking for myself, I only comment on their play. Their personal lives don't enter into my comments. We did have one psychopath poster who was all over Lackey for drinking light beer. We pretty much mocked the hell out of him for that comment.

Swisher is injured-- elbow, ARod will miss 4 or 5 games (thumb), Martin got hurt tonight and Cervelli has a concussion (probably from all the violent douchey fist-pumping).

That's very important, because they will be forced to go balls to the wall at least in their first series against the Rays. It would be ironic if we are rooting for the Yanks. It goes against every fiber of my being. -
