Enjoy your long off season, Sox. You didn't do what needed to be done. This series had nothing to do with s*** happening or bad luck. It had to do with playing like s*** and just being bad.
For all the talk about bad luck, we can't really complain. Last night, we lost with our best on the mound, and tonight our best starter couldn't put them away. If we go down, there are no excuses. This was theirs to win.
Some of the stupidest arguments I have read on this forum are the ones where someones fandom gets challenged. What is the sense of that? Are people looking to kick him out of some exclusive club. In the past on more than one ocassion, I was accused of being a Yankee fan or I was told to root for the Yankees, because I criticized the Sox. Like the current argument, those arguments were absurd.
This was huge. The Sox need to help themselves tonight and they have the loss column lead back to 2. If the Yanks take the nightcap, we could be on our way.
