It pissed me off when I was at the game on Saturday that they were doing the wave while the Sox were losing. They did it again on Sunday, but at least it was not late in the game.
He's not too bad with the bat since we got him. I don't hate the guy. My main beef when I deride the move is that the team's needs were different. We didn't need a utility player all that badly. Plus, I still like Furcal better.:dunno:
The poor kid should be watching the rest of this pennant race from the dugout with enthusiastic wide eyes as a veteran professional mans RF. I feel bad for the kid.
I suspect that VA might have hit the reefer harder than usual tonight. I can't blame her. We could all use some help to cope with this. It may have made her just a little more mellow than usual.
The Mets should have been using the "s*** Happens" slogan since 1986. If their marketing department picks it up, I will file a suit on VA's behalf demanding royalties.
