  1. Touche. Searching for cartoon....
  2. I guess the next time I'll use cartoons or pictures to explain things to you.
  3. I honestly did my best to explain it to you 3 times. So, I figured that you just were messing with me. If you don't get what went on between me and MVP, no big deal. It was between he and I. If you like to read UN and MVP, fine. UN is the only poster that I have on ignore. MVP freely admits that the majority of his post are snark. I have no use for either of them except i do enjoy when MVP engages in pointless research of minutiae or irrelevancies in my posts. I have started my countdown to my ST trip. It's less than 50 days away.
  4. I called him a jackass after the post that I quoted twice for you. That was his initial post in the exchange. What aren't you getting? Re-read the thread in sequence. I don't know what else to say. Again, I did not say that he was being a racist. He injected the issue of racism by making a blanket accusation of racism aim toward New Yorkers. Enough of that. Pretty sure you are just trolling me at this point.
  5. I didn't say that his post was racist. I said that he injected racism into the discussion which he did as a lame blanket accusation against New Yorkers in the following post:
  6. Now that Morse is unavailable, napoli's agent will demand 3 years.
  7. You should really change your custom user title to "a700hitter's stalker" chump.
  8. This part injected the issue of racism:
  9. What an empty life that you must have. You research every one of my utterances. You are the internet version of an annoying work colleague who I can always side track by bringing up some obscure topic with an unanswered question. Within milliseconds, he is googling and searching on his laptop or phone. It's a source of endless amusement form me. Keep up the good work.
  10. Will this be blamed on the violent nature of the sport causing brain injuries and dementia?
  11. He's such a complete dumbass that he thought that I was suggesting that UN be taken to Brooklyn to be beat up "on the mean streets". How in the world did he make that leap? I was obviously referring to your Brooklyn roots and the ability of Brooklynites to dominate an argument involving personal insults. But his brain can't make those connections. How he made a leap to racism was really stupendously stupid. Who was going to be involved in a race based beat down... You? Me? Complete nonsense.
  12. That's not what I said. jeez, you can never get anything right.
  13. We can hope. Of course, Miggy was Miggy at age 20. Mauro's development is a few years delayed. With the signing of Napol as a RH first baseman/part time catcher, I would still like to see a left handed 1B/OF like Garrett Jones to round out the roster. Plus, if the Sox have any plans to use Napoli behind the plate, Salty has to go.
  14. This would drive a stake through the heart of the Mauro Gomez project.
  15. If the owner had serious reservations about the signing, it's hard to blame the owner for opening up his wallet. There is plenty of blame to go around. Theo gets the lion's share for building this mess. JH is responsible for giving Theo autonomy after 2007. The FO lost a lot good baseball judgment when Bill Lajoie left. IMO, that void has yet to be filled.
  16. I am not inferring anything when I call you a jackass. Injecting racism into a sports forum is the act of a jack ass. You sir are a jackass. I am not inferring that. You apparently are much too stupid to understand what I meant by my remark and you are not worth the time to explain it. I can tell you this. It had nothing to do with "getting beat up on the mean streets of Brooklyn."
  17. Sure he shoulders most of the blame. The FO opened their wallet and directred him to get exciting "sexy" players and Theo implemented that philosophy very poorly. He spent maga bucks on the likes of Lackey, Crawford and a first baseman with a bum shoulder. If he had gone for Cliff Lee and Matt Holliday the story of the last few years would have been very different the last few years in Boston. He executed the philosophy very poorly. The owners are interested in revenue and their concerns were well founded-- TV ratings had been slipping. Theo brought in the wrong guys, squandered their huge budget and left them with an enormously expensive but totally suckass team with no payroll flexibility. So, yes, he built this pile of garbage. As for Francona, I love the guy, but he has a bit of an ax to grind.
  18. You are such a jackass.
  19. Hyperbole?... It happens on Internet sports forums. 26 games in the IF over 2 years -- he was basically an emergency option. He predominantly played the OF those years. You are picking some nits and going on with it like a dog with a bone. Millar may not have been the best example, but he wasn't the worst example either. In any regard, I think you got SBFs point. He thought Brentz could make the transition. Others have.
  20. UN has never been taken to Brooklyn.
  21. They have a powerhouse starting staff and bullpen. Their hitting is pretty good too. They will be a force again in 2013.
  22. What makes you think I dislike him? I think is a fair bit away from making the 2013 rotation. That is a long shot. This stuff about him and Pedro is meaningless. He's not going to be the next Pedro. He'd have to win the CY Young either this season or next for his career to parallel Pedro's. At this same age, Pedro was already carving out his legend.
  23. In the 2 years prior to obtaining him, Millar almost exclusively played the OF.
  24. And in that way, he fits TalkSox perfectly.
