  1. With Carp and Nava in the same OF, we don't have much range at all.
  2. I'd opt for the OFer Brentz at this point. He looked very good this spring in Ft.Myers.
  3. He broke camp with the team in 2006, but was so futile that he didn't last very long. I think he hit 1 and change.
  4. My other comments were that it was stupid if Koji was not injured. You were in the thread all night, you should have seen the context.
  5. How close is Victorino to coming back?
  6. Ellsbury with his second steal against us.
  7. I only said that he is starting to remind me of Willie Harris. LOL!! Three more weeks of useless play and I will be calling him Willie Harris.
  8. He is looking pretty useless. He is starting to remind me of Willie Harris. He was a multi-position guy also. He played 3 IF positions and the OF, but he was completely useless for us.
  9. Ellsbury's speed creating runs. He's not worth the money.
  10. I agree with that completely, and that is why we were questioning the move. We were trying to make sense of it.
  11. Let me say this for those running rampant with their sarcasm in this thread. As we were watching the game last night, we had no idea why Koji was sitting it out. There were a couple of explanations. The first one was that Koji was injured, sick or tired. The second was that Koji was not injured, sick or tired and Farrell wanted to get Mujica in a game in a high leverage situation. The first possibility was just scary to me unless it was just a cold or flu, but it was prudent for Farrell to keep him out of the game. The second possibility would just be a function of bad decision making in a game against the skanks when you are trying to get your team on a roll. If team sarcasm saw other possibilities, please share it with us and save us from your obnoxious sarcasm as we are watching the game.
  12. Because we don't have enough sarcasm on message boards. Dummy up. You are older than me. You should know better than to emulate someone who is so obnoxious.
  13. You have only watched three games? That surprises me.
  14. They do have to protect him. If he has a stiffness, they can't take any chances. The guy is gold.
  15. It was like running across a busy highway at night in dark clothing. Sometimes you get to the other side safely, but it was still stupid.
  16. Thank Goodness!!! Cue Dirty Water in Boston.
  17. Winning this game will just encourage future stupidity from the manager.
  18. Whether or not this works out, that is just stupid thinking.
  19. I am not liking this. If Koji is not injured, then this is just cement-headed stupidity.
  20. Taz came up big and buried McCann
