SOX-- Tejada (all-star SS, who isnt even 30 years old yet) O'S-- Lester(future #2 starter), Pedroia (will be an average to above-average 2b or SS), youk (would start at 1st for them, above average hitter) and clement (gives them a 2 or 3 starter) probaly wont happen, but i would be willing to make this deal. just because we get rid of pedroia and lester doesnt mean we are emptying are farm system. we have marte, papelbon, hansen, delcarmen, moss, ellsbury, soto, lowrie, buchholz, etc.) This trade would benefit the Red Sox now, and shouldnt hurt us for the future.

i dont understand what TB was thinking. they could have possibly the best 3B prospect in baseball and all they had to give up was there 32 year old SS when they hav BJ Upton waiting to come up. C- Laforest/Mike Rose 1B- Huff 2B- Cantu 3B- Marte SS- Upton LF- Crawford CF- Baldelli RF- Delmon Young DH- Gomes CP- Baez SP- Kazmir they probaly will trade gathright for some pitching. this team does have a lot of potential, but the front office seems to be confused on whether or not they can win now. ALSO-- they d-rays are looking to trade for Kaz Matsui according to NY Times

there is no possible way nomar can still play SS. you think renterias defense was bad... ALSO he was offered a 2 year 4 million contract by the blue jays. Imagine the reception he would get in the home opener this year

i think the sox best possible SS next year is pedroia. Hes better than any1 else you would sign.

i dont no about grafinino playing SS. Hes played SS on 93 times in his 9 year career -
1. Damon 2. Loretta 3. Ortiz 4. Manny 5. Nixon 6. Andy Marte 7. Jason Varitek 8. Kevin Youkilis (1st) 9. Alex Gonzalez since everyone is saying this guy is the best prospect, id like to see him in the majors right away. The twins are interested in lowell and are willing to give up jc romero and Kyle Lohse or Lew Ford

from espn I guees javy lopez isnt a good enough catcher anymore. this really doesnt make much since unless they plan on using javy as a DH. The O's obviously havn't realized they need PITCHING yet. The trade was largely agreed to but delayed as the Padres tried to re-sign closer Trevor Hoffman. "This deal was significant enough to put everything else on hold," Padres general manager Kevin Towers said.

if loretta can bat 2nd.. renteria would probaly bat 8 or 9. Pedroia and cora would be a fine platoon in the 9th spot and a SS.
