  1. riverside, i advise u change ur avatar quickly for emotional reasons...at least for tonight.
  2. if we come back and win this, this game is deff going on one of those Red Sox commercials w/ Tessie in the bckground
  3. Yea, just cuz of papi's clutch hitting, really is a pick your poison deal.
  4. if Rent gets on, u think theyll int bb Ortiz?
  5. Damon down way of the K, uno out
  6. C'mon, lets get our bats goin again
  7. LOL, isn't this guy notorious for doin this stuff? Like hasnt he done it to other people too? If so he really needs to get a life and leave respectable people such as Jeter alone.
  8. The only thing that scares me about them is TO. W/o Harrison, tehy might have a LOT of trouble with him if we make it to the SB. I think the real test for our defense is the Colts, if we dominate them I will have no dought we could stop Philly. Plus, Philly has almost no one to test them in the NFC, which is why theyll make it to the SB.
  9. No one really scares me in the AFC or the NFC, carolina got lucky, we were just very sloppy on the O'Line. Take all the pressure away thats a blow-out
  10. This will be a huge accomplishment if we win a 4th SB this year, with our coordinaters gone, Bruschi, Law, and Harrison all gone, would be a very telling year that we basically don't depend on one sole player besides Tom Brady, he's the only player where I s*** myself if he goes down.
  11. Turns out he tore his ACL in his left knee and wonm't be returning anytime soon. IMO this is a huge loss to our secondary, he was the veteran and leader of that crew, now that is left to Eugene WIlson and Asante Samuel, loeaving a big hole at SS. Who do u think will fill in for him? and do you think we're still contenders to goin deep into the playoffs?
  12. LOL, i remember ALL of hat, you from AZ? I lived there when i was a kid, I used to love the Suns.
  13. how do u want us to reply to this? all i can say is i agree that it was a good yea of baseball, that isnt rly over yet.
  14. As a baseball fan i hope it goes down to game 3 of the Fenway series. maybe even go back to YS for that playoff game. However as a Red Sox fan i want it over ASAP
  15. I guess I just never liked 'em when i was a kiddie either. I always used to go to Suns games where that Gorilla would slam dunk the ball from like the top of the key (off of trampeline). I'm just sayin maybe they do something more than just walk arond and wave at people.
  16. We got more than enough homegrown coming who will contribute. Hanley at 2nd/cf/3rd, Pedroia somewhere, Lester, Papy, Delcarmen, Hansen, and Sanchez all going somehwere in our pitching staff. Then we got some hard throwing studs in Lowell.
  17. Wasn't he giving it CPR or w/e? I really don't understand baseball mascots, at least in basketball they jump off trampelines and s***. In baseball they just walk around and hug kiddies. Wallyhas always annoyed me, so it didn;t bother me to see him gettin hit.
  18. Well, we gained that game that we needed, now if we go even with the Yanks then we should be fine until we face them, then we gotta take 2/3, which is way more probable then 3/3.
  19. I'm very suprised no one took this guy, even if Borass was his agent, looking at his talent and stuff should be enough for any team to want to sign him. He's deff the Sox closer for years to come.
  20. Oh man did he have late movement on that heater. You could see it in slow mo break up and in a little. Whoooo!
  21. maybe it's a sign that these guys are wakin up and usin whatever they got left. they should be reachin back like that, way to go Bronson.
  22. Please raffy, we don't need another Canseco in this world.
  23. Well, this is all mainly due to his 2 bad knees. He had surgery earlier this year on one of them, and then his mechanics went out of wack. he should surgery on his other knee so he can get to ST healthy and ready to go. Personally i think he shouldve sat out a long time ago. that way he could strengthen his knees this offseason and work on mechanics in ST.
  24. I'm not worried about this game, the Pats always bounce back after losses, the very few that they have. They havent lost 2 in a row since like 2002 or something like that.
  25. I don't understand why your arguing about this, do you think im dissing the A's? or what? Anyway, I wasn't im fact I was applauding them in both of my posts there as you can see, and i wasnt saying that their whole team was cheap 300 thou players I was saying that they had few expensive players becuase they had to keep their payroll in the 55 -60 mill range as they have the past 2 seasons. Basically Macha has put them in contention this season with a) no Tim Hudson or Mark Mulder, No Tejada, and a team that has scored under 800 runs the past 2 seasons, and c) 2 rookies in his bullpen in which hes molded them into quality relievers. Now put Tito in that situation and see what he would do. All I'm saying is that is a great accomplishment for an orginaztion to do this with so little.
