  1. shittttttttttt, pokey woudla had it
  2. he's not top 3 in terms of NL outfielders
  3. Agreed, he is a very good player's manager, yet he is smart as well. Besides bringing in Jovy lopez to intentionally walk the only lefty in Seattle's lineup the otehr night, I have no real "what a dumbass" comments about him this season. I lie how he does stick with players when others wouldn't, and it has payed off for him (Bellhorn in 04 playoffs, etc.), and he does a really good job keeping everyone fresh, though I ahet when he puts the entire bench in the starting lineup.
  4. What would you guys do for Salty? I'd go even as far as Bowden.
  5. Lets hope Kason impresses the ChiSox. EDIT: Nevermind, rumors are false
  6. That's probably why they're letting Gabbard have two starts instead of skipping his next start on the offday and sending him back. That's a lot to give up for Buehrle, and I would much rather ship off Lowrie than Ellsbury. I have no problem trading Lester, Lowrie, and Gabbard, but yeah, the ChiSox need to give us that 72 hour window, otherwise walk away.
  7. So long as CBuch and Bowden stay, I'm cool with persuing Tex. If you think Paps and Lester are good, you don't know Buchholz.
  8. Verry frustrating night for the Sox, or at elats for me, I hate games where we just get shut down. Good mvoe by Tito getting thrown out, maybe it'll light a fire under our asses.
  9. Belli looked that way, and his fastball is very wierd looking I will agree, it doens't help that you don't pick up the ball until very late. It just seems to float and stay up or something like that, can't really describe it well. I think we will see otehrwise next inninga s all will get their third go-rounds.
  10. 2-0, Khalile Green. I like him, but now I'm just frustrated.
  11. There's a reason starters usually need 3 pitches (unless you have the knuck). Our hitters should just sit dead red and hit the s*** out of the next 4 seam they see.
  12. DONT FORGET TO CAPS LOCK MUTHAf***AS ANYWAY GREAT WIN LAST NIGHT, I TEND TO LIKE THOSE ONE RUN GAMES RECENTLY FOR SOME REASON. HOPEFULLY WE CAN CLINCH 2/3 TONIGHT SO WE CAN JUST ENJOY TOMOROW'S PEAVY V. BECKETT GAME TOMOROW. TONIGHT SHOULD BE VERY GOOD IF WAKE IS ON AGAINST A VERY GOOD CHRIS YOUNG. HOPEFULLY COCO CAN KEEP HIS HOT STREAK GOIN AND BE THE LEADOFF GUYW E ALL THOUGHT HE WOULD BE.
  13. He doesn't look as sharp as he did last year, not as spot on with his 4 seam, but he's still nasty as all holy hell.
  14. Yeah, there's no reason to bring anyone up, just use the off-day to skip his spot.
  15. Agreed, I mean this team still has a 7.5 game lead, the best RPI in the league, and the second best record in baseball. If anything, this just shows us our weakness: That when everyone's cold this lineup sucks. let's all relax, the players we were leaning on (Lowell, Youk, Pedro[ia]) have joined everone besides Manny and Ortiz with subpar performances. Our pitching is not going to give up 12 runs every night, and our offense isn't going to get shut out every night, so let's just chill, and get out of this. It's a needed test for this team, instead of just cruising through the entire season.
