Of course it was blown up just a tad, but Sox fans will never admit it. Yankee fans just can't comprehend how it must have felt to be tormented for so many years (even though most Red Sox fans are not 86 years old to have experienced it all themselves), so we just have to roll with how they deal with winning. :dunno:
I'm just kidding with you guys of course (people can kid around, right?), but it was a pretty big deal. I'm just really sick of hearing about it. It isn't only the Sox winning the world series, it is now everyone praising anyone who wears a Red Sox uniform. It's like the media is trying to brainwash everyone into becoming a RS fan. Honestly, I had to put the games on FOX & ESPN on mute because I just couldn't stand it anymore. It will pass though I'm sure. People will realize that the Sox do exactly what the Yankees do, as pointed out in the article, and the casual baseball fans will soon proclaim the Cubs America's favorite team.
