  1. in a nutshell: that sucked
  2. Hey GO. NYGal here. Howd you make your way over?
  3. did they really! definately gonna put on the encore now lol
  4. What do you expect when you shout that Arod sucks and Jeter swallows and try to say "papi" is gonna win MVP and the Red Sox are the new dynasty team for the next century. I mean please, this is New York with some pretty heafty attitudes. Don't be a loud mouth about it. There was one other guy wearing a Boston hat but nothing happened to him...three guesses why. He kept his mouth shut. Good Boston fan.
  5. Amazing! So many sories lol. It was a full house and it was so energetic. Like the fifth inning we all did the wave on every level and it went around like 5 times, haven't really been a part of anything like that before. There was a Boston fan who was like walking around the entire stadium and his friends were yankee fans of course bringing attention to him (must have lost a bet or something) so he got like beer thrown on him, crumpled up napkins and what not lol. The fans around me were awesome and we were near the road trippers (tier seats, but still great to be in Yankee Stadium) so it was all around a really great atmosphere.
  6. hah whoever said its over is dreaming. this is going to be one helluva stretch comin up here, and i cant wait to see how it unfolds!
  7. Duh, I think Yankee fans know best "it aint over till its over", to quote Yogi
  8. Got my wish! Amazing game! I love Yankee fans!!!!
  9. Off to the Yankee game for me. Hopefully I can bear witness to the Yanks overtaking first place. Wouldn't that be sweet...
  10. I just got back from the game, really good. I never understand why so many people leave in the 7th inning. Anyway, it was a good game overall and good thing I didn't have a good view of what happened to Roberts because it sounds really gory.
  11. Ding ding ding!! We have a winner.
  12. A little hostile over there? It's actually somewhat fun being the one chasing instead of being chased. Not that I want to get used to it though.
  13. What a wonderful day. Yanks win in dramatic fashion, and the Sox lose. .5 games back
  14. Bubba is so loveable, even just his name. Bubba! And Wang is doing great! I was at the first game he pitched when he came off the DL and am happy to see MUCH improvement on his part. The guy just isnt fazed it seems and I love him for it.
  15. haha yeah and i wanna see some more of that tomorrow, because i'll be there!
  16. Bubba freakin Crosby. Gotta love him!!
  17. Don't hate :harhar: Besides, I said it was for Yankee fans. No RS fans allowed!
  18. Cool video I found while browsing a Yankee forum, enjoy. I know you will http://media.putfile.com/yankeessmall PS-If this belongs in the General Off-Topic Chat, my mistake.
  19. Jeeze, this is a really frustrating thread to read. Please, for one minute, forget about the rivalry. Once you have forgotten... Please tell me which would get your vote for MVP: Guy number one: Great bat & high OBP Guy number two: Great bat, has a high OBP, great defensive skills, can start the running game and not one to sneeze at for Gold Glove
  20. I was on tv at the sept 11th game, went directly home, and taped the encore lol. i dunno how you would be able to find that though.
  21. Well said 26. Arod=Ortiz hitting wise. Arod>>Ortiz in everything else.
  22. That was pretty good Calvn.
  23. I'm salivating just thinking about Torri Hunter in CF for the Yankees.
