  2. I give it two thumbs up
  3. No way! I love his av.
  4. :thumbdown
  5. I found the top part of it lol :dunno: http://espn.starwave.com/media/nba/2005/0501/photo/a_wade_360.jpg
  6. Eh, I don't really want those 50 year olds with potbellies in their momma's basement obsessing over it.
  7. I love him. I've never seen him play but I saw him interviewed on Best Damn Sports Show Period and he's so loveable
  8. haha im good. too bad you missed when my picture was in the picture thread, then you could have judged whether or not i am a seadonkey. and rooter-i did have fun lol you are a worthy competitor, esp. for putting up with my lack of skills lol
  9. hahahaha and yes i really am a "chick"
  10. did you just call me a he? lol
  11. I say "F-uck You", too. Does that make me a hard ass gang banger?
  12. lol well that was all he could do. i just watched the video again and poor old curt schilling was even trying to take a wack at him. honestly i didn't realize until now how many red sox players ganged up on arod.
  13. Oh please. Yeah things happen fast in fights but what about in baseball. I've seen Tek let that mask go flying off his head whenever he looses a ball and has to search for it. He takes it off in time to keep the runner from advancing. I think somewhere between when Brandon hit Arod and when Varitek said "We don't throw at .260 hitters" he would have been able to take off the stupid mask.
  14. Again, tell me how trying to plow your way into home base to get the ball out of the catchers mit is any different than trying to get it out of the guy covering you at first? Or how its different from sliding into second or third base even though you know you will be out just to try to tangle up the guys legs and get him off balance so he messes up his throw? Because I'd really like to know... It's just because Arod did it. Get over it. My goodness.
  15. Honestly you guys, if you can't admit that Arod deserved the award over Ortiz you either didn't watch any Yankees baseball games or you are just letting your hatred of the Yankees blind you. Arod lead his team in RBIs, Homers, Runs, OPS, and Avg. Ortiz just lead in RBIs and Homers, but was second in the AL in homers to none other than Arod. Arods numbers during crunch time in the last week of the season were hands down much more impressive than Ortiz's. Ortiz's avg. was in the .260s while Arod hit over .300. Arod had better hitting stats than Ortiz and hitting was Ortiz's only fighting chance of winning the award. Arod obviously outshined him defensively with some really superb plays that saved games. Remember guys, it takes a lot to get to that last walk-off hit. Arod deserved it and I'm really surprised that a lot of you convinced yourselves that Ortiz should have won the award over Arod.
  16. Yeah that's the bottom line. He has four rings sitting somewhere in his house and he can take solace in the fact that he was always the one on the mound throwing that last pitch to get his team those rings. That's award enough.
  17. This one's pretty good too:
  18. Well Cano and Wang are untouchables so that trade would be difficult.
  19. It was a toss up for me between Carpenter and Willis...and the voting was pretty close too but I'm happy for Carp, much more worthy of the award than Colon.
  20. Cashman said he was toying with the idea of putting Andy Phillips at first base next season and not finding a replacement for Tino.
  21. That sucks for the Sox. I think he's a pretty good GM. So does anyone know what he plans to do next?
  22. Yes but Joe Torre said once in a interview that he trusts Mel wholeheartedly and that he wants him to stay. That makes me say uh-oh because I hope Joe can get along with whoever they choose as the new coach as well as he got along with Mel.
  23. Yeah, it's going to be wierd not seeing him aside Joe Torre. First Torre loses Zimmer, now Mel. Uh oh.
  24. I think it's good for baseball.
