  1. That was a good season. I'm happy they made the play-offs. It's more than 22 teams can say.
  2. He is a country singer. No wonder he doesn't like yankees. http://www.cowboyjoewest.com/
  3. The Yanks were down 5-2 in the 8th game 7 of the 03 alcs and we came back, there's hope.
  4. More. The Cano play, the Giambi at first play, and plate calls. He always screws the Yankees I don't know why I am surprised.
  5. Jow West has screwed the Yankees. I wish him a painful existence.
  6. I really wish I didn't care or have my heart in it so much. I'm going to be sad if/when they lose, but even more sad that the season is over.
  7. You will beat this, you are strong. Mind over matter man, keep your spirits up and you will pull through. Best of luck buddy. You WILL beat this.
  8. And no, definately not. His post-season numbers suck. BUT at least if JW does start Game 1, IF the Yanks get that far, and they lose the Yanks won't have the chance to go up 3 games and then lose 4.
  9. Definately Embree goes. But that's not really important now, the important thing is winning! Eek! I'm so excited/nervous.
  10. And how ironic that you should have to thank former Yankees, El Duque and Contreras, for your team's success. You are laughable and are not even worth my taking time out of my life to even remotely attempt to show what a classless, moronic, stereotypical person you are. But oh wait, you did that well enough yourself in your post.
  11. Not really surprising in my opinion.
  12. Oo look...a newbie! just kidding, welcome
  13. I love these kinds of games. This series has been very entertaining thus far so I'm excited to see how game 5 pans out. Either way, I must say that I very much enjoyed this baseball season. The Yankees took me and all yankee fans on such a roller coaster ride and those last three games, the importance of them, was really fun to see. So here's to the Yanks winning game 5! Let's just hope its a repeat of game 1.
  14. baseball = just a game at the end of the day buddy. you have no right to judge me based on where i was born. and no i'm not meaning to start a war of words here, just simply defending new yorkers, which goes past yankee fans.
  15. I hope the Yanks make a push for Timlin.
  16. What did we ever do to you?
  17. The game is cancelled. I was supposed to go too, so now it's tom. at 7:30 i think.
  18. Alright, was Giambi on steroids this season? Negative. Point blank, that's all you need to know. He had an intestinal parasite, an inflamed knee, a respiratory infection, and a freakin pituitary tumor. Oh and FYI: your pituitary gland is in your brain of all places. He overcame everything and proved that you don't need steroids to succeed in baseball, which is indeed the exact message baseball is trying to convey to the general audience.
  19. Well check his rating and look at comments about him from people he has sent stuff to. That should help. Or, just drop hints about "your friend" getting something from ebay that turned out to be fake.
  20. Welcome! I like your av, I love Paulie. I was at game 5 WS when everyone chanted his name. *magical*
  21. Yay Giambi! But I do see your point See Red, which is why I wouldn't really be upset if he lost it. But, they might be sending a message to steroid users: You might suck after you get off the roids, but you will be rewarded with hard work and determination when you get back into shape
  22. Excuse me that I don't think someone who hits under .300 with less homers than Arod without being able to field is exactly MVP. Also, please don't forget that the Yankees were 11-19 in the beginning of the year. There weren't very many people on base for Arod or chances that the Yanks were in a game that was winnable with a swing of the bat, and he could STILL put up MVP numbers. Put Arod in Fenway and his numbers would blow Ortiz out of the water.
