Lester stuff wise reminds me alot of Andy Pettitte however he should still be in the minors IMO. -
He cought a break because Posada threw out Anderson. Now it doesnt look as bad because he would have ended up with Proctor facing Konerko in the 8th anyway.

Why take that chance against Iguchi? If Joe was smart just leave Villion in against Anderson and Cintron. If he gets those 2 outs then if you want you have the option of leaving Villion into face Podsednik. Instead he has to risk Myers against Iguchi.

Wang hangs a slider and Crede takes him out. Why even bother with that pitch when Wang has gotten the first 2 hitters out rather easy with sinkers is beyond me. It looked like he was starting to find his arm slot.

I hear ya. I would be concerned also however if you look at this game the Royals lead 2-0 in the top of the 4th. If Hudson or the Royals pen doesnt blow this I would be pretty suprised. -

I'm seen him pitch all year long and I think its a case of just being worn down. It reminds me of what happend to Vazquez when he joined the Yankees. Vazquez was throwing 95 MPH with the Expos and all of a sudden hes a Yankee and he has the velocity of Mike Mussina. Its not suprising that it happend right after Vazquez threw 230+ innings. Vazquez has never been the same since. Garcia has been an innings eater over his career and I think those innings are coming back to haunt him because he is throwing 88-90. Not the 93-95 he once threw.

Wang should pitch inside a little more. The White Sox look like they are trying to slap the ball the other way.
