Randy Johnson wasn't too hot on Saturday... But, like others are saying, it's only spring training. This is the first time these guys are facing players, who are actually trying to hit the ball, in months. Their performance now is rarely going to be indicative of how it will be come April. -
Most players go for the most money, regardless of their agent. Black meet kettle. I mean, Johnny is obviously not the only one who can't 'let go' of this. Just look at how this thread, which was (I imagine, given the title) was supposed to be about Coco Crisp, couldn't go more than one post without becoming all about the guy all of you have, supposedly, moved on from.

How was Chacon today? I didn't get to see him pitch. I was impressed with Matt Smith's performance; I've heard alot about him, today was the first time I've actually had the oppurtunity to see him pitch.

Torre plans on keeping Pavano in Tampa for an extra week or two.

I could picture that: Steinbrenner, in that golf cart he's always in down at camp this year, chasing Torre in a taxi through the Bronx.

Could you deal with George Steinbrenner and Gary Sheffield being right? And knowing it? Could you? I don't think so.

Dotel thinks he'll be ready by May. I'm liking this signing more and more. He seems like someone very determined to prove himself; hopefully, come May or June, he can.
