OAK: RHP Dan Haren (14-12, 3.73 ERA in 2005) Haren went 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA in two starts against the Yankees last season. Player to watch No Yankees hitter has more than seven at-bats against Haren, but Derek Jeter has made the most of his opportunities against the young right-hander. In six at-bats, Jeter has collected four base hits, a .667 average.

I like Maria; she's a die-hard fan and that's what the show needs. From what I've seen so far, YES made a mistake with Tiffany (or whatever her name is.) She's told she's going to 162 games and she can't show a bit of excitement?

Villone probably could have gone in and I don't see why Farnsworth couldn't have gotten another few outs. Proctor had a pretty good spring (granted it was spring training, but it was still enough to impress the Yankees.) I'm willing to give Proctor a break considering he hadn't pitched in a week, and in that week he had to watch as his daughter went from very ill to under the knife (heart surgery, I believe.)

What was Proctor doing in that game? He hasn't pitched in some time and Joe throws him into a situation with the game on the line? You have to be kidding me.

Fans shouldn't be throwing things on the field or at the players, regardless of what they've done. That guy who held up the huge asterik when Bonds came up had the right idea.
