    I read this on Mlb.com, this seems to take the Mets out of the MAnny sweepstakes making a trade there very unlikely.     Texas gets: Shopach,Arroyo, Cora Boston Gets: Soriano I would only do this if Manny was to be traded. We would need another bat in the lineup, i dont think the lineup would be good enough to hide Pedrioa as an everyday player without the likes of Ramirez. Texas needs pitching and Arroyo would be a good fit, plus Texas has said they would like to deal Soriano. Wihtout the need for Bronson in the rotation anymore, i think this would be a good fit.

    Who do you think should close games for the Sox next year. I personally think Keith Foulke will be back to himself, but if not i think it should be Hansen

    If this comes down to dollars the yankees will probally win, however i would love to see Farnsworth on this team next year

    Im guessing Schilling will be the opening dat starter, but beckett will probally start the 3rd game, and put wake as the 2nd game starter just to mix it up, thats what Tito did in 04 with Schill and Pedro. Also with Lowel here now i think the Red Sox (if they cannot sign Kenerko) should make Youk their everyday 1st basemen. Heres my opening day lineup Damon-CF Renteria-SS Ortiz-Dh Ramirez-LF Nixon-RF Tek-C Lowel-3B Youk-1B Cora/Pedrioa-2B Starting rotation Schill Wake Beckett Clement Papelbon Bullpen Arroyo Delcarmen Myers Bradford Hansen Timlin Foulke(give him a chance to get the job done) To me that is a W.S calibar team

    This is excellent Schill BEck Wake Paps Clement Trade wells put arroyo in the pen that would be a W.S rotation, maybe use lowel in trade or as a back up 3rd basemen

    I still cant believe Theo is gone, he helped us get over the hump, and made it possible for good things to come in the future, my worry is that a new G.M will trade away our young talent and i now see Tito's days in Boston numbered, maybe even this offseason now that Theo is gone, or if the sox get of to a slow start Tito will be gone

    Yeah i dont see that happening however, i doubt Larry Luchino will see much of Theo ever agian

    how severly will this affect the sox chances of resigning Damon i read somewhere that Boras told the Red Sox to get Theo's contract done so they could make a deal for Damon but i dont see that happening now

    This is unreal, the sox should have given Theo Cashmen money, Theo brought us a championship, and a rejuventated farm system. Larry Luchino is a ******** along with Dan Shaunessy.. this sucks so bad

    yeah this seems like a highly uncreidle sorce sorry i really dont believe this... Why would anyone use Steriods after what happened to Palmerio, that actually might be the best thing to happen to baseball because guys will look at what happened to Rafy and wont want to get Mixed up in it
