So let's get some runs here, because I have no confidence in our bulpen anymore.

Seriously Gom, we win last night's game 99/100 times. We match up fine with the Yankees. Remember also we are playing without Manny Ramirez, for the last month and the last three games against New York. If you don't remember corectly I believe he plays pretty well against you guys the last time I checked.

The Pats are a much better team than the Colts are this year.

Is there any chance that Manny will be in the line-up at any point this weekend?

You Know, Jason is right. I was at the game where Lugo was a given a standing ovation, and he came through with a huge 2 run single, which was his first hit in like 30 AB's. I think its time to realize, that yes Drew is having a bad year but we do need him. The Fenway faithful should pull for the guy for the rest of the year and see what happens.

What about drafting Clay Buchholz or Jacoby Ellsbury? What would you have done differently? He was right about Damon, Pedro, maybe not Lowe, because he would have been a better option then Clement, but still at the time that wasn't the case. He has upgrade the rotation since 04, he has a better 3rd basemen then in 04 (this year's Mike Lowell is better than 04 Bill Mueller) He has a better Bullpen. Actually I might revise my rotation assesment because if DiceK can pitch like he did from June to August, then we have a much better rotation then we did in 04.

But the fact remains that if Caldwell didn't drop the tochdown pass the Patriots win the game. I would say 1 time out of every 100 a QB would lead his team to a touch down with 45 seconds left and 0 timeouts startig from about the 20 yard line.

Your comment about the saying the Patriots would have won the superbowl that year with out Brady was moronic. It means you knew nothing about the Pats that season. The team was 5-13 in their last 18 games and suddenly they would have just turned it around and gone 14-3 with a superbowl with Bledsoe at the helm.

The drive against Indy was almost an impossible situation. I believe there was like 50 seconds left and no timeouts, not to mention the best option Brady had to throw to was Ben Watson. Let's also no forget that if Reche Caldwell had not dropped a wide open TD, the Patriots would have won the game, and we would be talking about the 4 time superbowl champion Patriots. The only really bad end of game descion Brady made was the pick in the endzone against Denver, but I believe that was in the third quarter so that really wasn't the end of the game. I am not saying Manning is a choker, I am saying if you are looking at pure stats Brady is a better post season performer than Manning at this point in there respective careers period.

All I am saying is that I would rather have Brady on my team, I think he is calmer under pressure and not much rattles him. By the way See Red how do you think a team that was 5-11 the previous year and started 0-2 went on to win a superbowl. If Brady had not come on to the field, the Pats would have probably won only five games that season. Thats the fact that people overlook, the Patriots were not by any means a quality team when Brady took over. They had Bledsoe who was an alright quarterback, but when Brady was inserted into the offense I think his presence and deminor helped give everyone on the team confidence. You can't teach that, you either have that quality or you don't. Let's be realistic Peyton Manning's playoff stats are not that good if you take out 2 monstrous games I believe in 04. He had something like 10 TD's and 0 picks in those two games, other than that he was mediocre at best through out his playoff career. He played especially poor in two of his four playoff games last season. I can think of way more games that Brady has lead a comeback, then the two times you are thinking of. What about superbowl 36? 38? Against the Dolphins in overtime in 04, aganist the Bears in 03? Brady has got it done countless times, way way more than he has failed. I bet guys like Montana and Elway failed as well a few times.
