Well yeah. But I think his his good way way way way out equals his bad. He can dance all he wants if he continues to pitch like he has the past 3 seasons.

I was againist it at the time because he was raking this season. I was against it because I didnt think any player could replace his protection against David Ortiz. Admitidly I was wrong, but honestly can you blame me? The guy was so good for so long. However, the point of my comment had nothing to do with Jason Bay. He wasnt even in my mind. I was just pointing out the fact how much things have changed with Pedroia, and Youk in the 3/4, as compared to a healthy Ortiz/Ramirez which was damn fun to watch for 5+ seasons.

There was a brief time where the splitter was a good pitch for him. He seems to have lost it this year especially.

Even with this injury we can still be competative and win 9-10 games and be on the fringe for the playoffs. Randy Moss and Wes Welker are still excellent recievers, and the running game looked pretty good today. We may have no legit shot at a superbowl, but we can still be competative.

Daunte Culpepper. Why not? He knows Moss, and can he be worse than Cassel?
