  1. Well they're trying to restructure McGinest last I heard, but if they can't get that done they will have to cut him.
  2. Damon being an idiot and running his mouth does not hurt the Red Sox. Infact, it helps, because it hurts the Yankees.
  3. Between Sheldon and McRoberts there were atleast 8 phantom calls last night, and Sheldon actually fouled out of the game on a foul given by Greg Paulus ... I really see how the refs got them confused ... 6'9 black guy ... 6'2 white guy ... I can totally see how they messed that up Don't get me wrong I'm not blaming the officials for our loss, because we should have blown FSU out. I'm simply saying that it was a really lame way for the refs to make up for their mistakes the last time these two teams met. You don't punish kids for your own dumb mistakes in the past. Doug Gotlieb on "Game Night" said that last night was the worst homer officiating he's ever seen in a college basketball game.
  4. He said he wouldn't talk about a trade. He said he'll only talk about baseball.
  5. That series was over before it ever started. IMO without Tony G we don't make the playoffs last year.
  6. Nice to see he showed up ... like you said we knew he was supposed to be there today but I don't think any of us were completely sure.
  7. Yeah I just hadn't really thought about it in a while until I saw your post.
  8. I'm a big fan of Tony G and everything he did for the Sox last year. I really wanted him to be here, but I guess if we have no spot for him I'd rather see him get a chance somewhere else. Thanks for the 51 games.
  9. I strongly doubt you had them going over Wake. If so ... very nice.
  10. No, you got exactly what I was saying.
  11. Picking with your heart will always cost you
  12. Well yeah thats why I said it wouldn't surprise me. I'd say the majority of athletes barely get an education, because they don't have to.
  13. Well then I guess I'm wrong.
  14. I hope you guys who like the Zags are getting in on the brackets we're doing.
  15. Theres been some talk about Ameriquest ... Field Dimensions: As indicated above, the outfield dimensions are asymmetrical, a feature common to ballparks constructed in the early 20th century. From home plate to the left field foul pole is 332 feet with an increase to 390 feet in the left field power alley. Straightaway center field measures 400 feet, then moves to the deepest point, 407 feet, approaching right center. The Rangers' bullpen comes into play in right field as a 381-foot power alley juts out to 377 feet at the right corner of the bullpen. There is again a dramatic decrease in distance in the right field corner as the foul pole sits just 325 feet from home plate. The outfield fences are eight feet in center and right fields and 14 feet in left. The playing surface is 22 feet below street level. According to studies done before construction, the prevailing winds are south-southeast. The effect of the wind is greatly reduced by the fact that the ballpark is completely enclosed by a four-story office building in center field. In addition, a giant windscreen, measuring 42 by 430 feet, was installed on the roof of the office building to further minimize the wind.
  16. Yeah I hope the brackets work out so we can see a Duke UConn Championship. Although for Duke's sake ... I'd take any other team.
  17. If they can get everyone onboard for 6 games they can beat anyone in the tourney ... but Duke IMO. I hate UConn with a passion but I can't deny their talent.
  18. Duke and UConn
  19. PITT not only lost a game tonight ... they lost any chance in the Big East Tourney ... and a great seed in the NCAA tourney.
  20. Krauser never even moves his arms and he's called for a reach. I love it.
  21. Anyone not watching PITT/WVU needs to turn it on ... Jaime Dixon's head is about to explode.
  22. I agree, but it all depends where he goes. If he can go to a team where he can be a #2 or #3 scoring option, and gets good minutes then he will succeed. If he goes somewhere where he's going to be the #6 man I don't believe he'll have much success.
  23. I believe thats just his custom user title.
  24. Well the majority of the board lives on the east coast.
  25. It's much improved just like every part of his game. He's very underrated defensively, but I wouldn't go as far as calling him a shut down guy by any means.
