I think for most people, baseball harkens back to your memories as a kid. Every kid remembers playing catch with their dad and going to ballgames with their dad.
When I was a kid, I played and one of my most vivid memories is how my dad used to make me catch 5 popups in a row, each one going higher and higher into the air and once I did, he would buy me a Snickers bar.
I also still have my collection of mini-baseball helmets which they used to serve sundaes in at the Olympic Stadium. But as I've gotten older and started understand the intricacies of the sport and how every little thing that goes on impacts the game, I've grown to love it.
