  1. youre gonna say that when you guys got a 2-man advantage to allow you to tie the game?
  2. I absolutely love Milan Lucic. Him and probably Savard are the two guys on the Bruins that I'd take on my Habs.....maybe Krejci too
  3. expect no poor man can come close to affording Arroyo today after his highway robbery of a contract extension 2 years ago? as far as Snyder goes, something about not letting something hit you in some body part on the way out?
  4. I would expect John Flaherty's phone to ring soon
  5. Hank Steinbrenner just reminds me of the red-faced guy you see face down at a bar at 2am with a glass of jack on the rocks split on the floor in front of him
  6. aw cmon, did you guys really think Boston had a chance? especially with that crowd
  7. I've got: Montreal in 6 Pittsburgh in 5 Washington in 6 New York in 6 Detroit in 5 San Jose in 6 Minnesota in 7 Anaheim in 5
  8. 3 1/2 hours until tonight's game...
  9. I know, I just read that. I can't stop laughing
  10. I thought it would've been about a girl being attacked by one half of the Legion of Doom

  12. McPhailure
  13. ok...so then predictably the sox shut them down the last 2 games while they faced two above-average starting pitchers in Blanton and Harden (not to mention knocking around Street) for the entire 4-game set so what exactly is your beef with how they've played?
  14. look, he's still an invaluable cog in the Red Sox machine and will probably still give you a .250 average with between 15-20 homers for the next 2-3 years. Obviously, it would be nice if we had a blue chip catching prospect ready to slide in and take his place but these days, those are hard to find for any team. I'm sure the club is hoping Kottaras is that guy but worst case, they'll go out and get someone as a free agent who will put up roughly the same offensive numbers but probably won't give the team the same defense and intangibles as Tek and the team will just have to win without that
  15. yea, but at least the name Montreal Canadiens and that logo strikes an emotion in you, unlike a team in Tampa Bay or Columbus
  16. Alex Gonzalez...but yea I agree with you
  17. Doubtful, fans like to place blame for a team's failure on a singular person or circumstance as often as possible, fairly or not. (see Bill Buckner)
  18. it is a good offense. its just frustrating when they miss out on a golden opportunity to get some runs off a good pitcher like Harden before he settles into a groove
  19. no Ellsbury, f***ing stupid
  20. the answer would be no for all of the above. but it is good to see teams like Montreal, Pittsburgh and Detroit at the top of their respective conferences as opposed to Carolina, Tampa Bay, Anaheim, etc.
