He was a PTBNL in a trade for a 43-year old David Wells and he hasn't done all that much to increase that perceived value. He is what he is and if at some point, he does play for the Sox, it'll probably say more about the Sox catching situation and it will about Kottaras

I didn't say anything about the game being past HGH or PEDs in general cause I think that's still a major problem but I don't think steroid use is nearly as rampant as it used to be, in part because it's become obsolete and in part because of the drug testing. But sports in general has a PED problem and the only reason baseball is in the spotlight is because there is no sport whose records are as treasured as baseball's and the biggest offenders are knocking down baseball's treasured records.

I'm sure if the case went to trial, at some point the court would force him to have a blood test. Seems like it would be the judge's first order of business. And I love this part of the story: What the hell do her living arrangements or car she drives have anything to do with anything?

The thing I don't get though is why would the lawyer lie about something that can so easily be disproved?

His lawyer flat out denied he has AIDS which normally I'd take with a grain of salt but it's pretty hard to hide if your client has AIDS Even his dad said he had no idea he has AIDS Weird story

yea but the problem with the Mitchell Report is that so many people refused to cooperate that there's no way it could be the last chapter in the steroid investigation All the names will come out eventually but it will take years and years. Some names will leak out, some guys will confess after they've retired to sell some books, some guys' personal trainers will speak, etc.

There's fighting in the OHL and they have mandatory visors, they just push them up a bit when they fight.
