  2. Zumaya is good bla bla bla upside bla bla bla 102 MPH bla bla bla but good enough to be the 5th reliever taken? with that medical record?
  3. Considering no one claimed him off waivers, I'd say the best he'll get next year is a minor-league contract
  4. lulz, I expected a fish or something
  5. I wonder what the hell kind of logo the Toyo Carps have
  6. Javier Lopez's line yesterday in Pawtucket: 0.2 IP, 1 H, 4 ER, 5 BB, 1 K what a cockball
  7. oh, and make your picks
  8. yea, both have way exceeded expectations and when the inevitable regression comes, there's still Oki, Masterson, Bard and maybe even Saito who can handle pressure innings here and there. Papelbon is starting to come around as well, he seems to be getting a lot more guy to swing and miss lately. Like Kilo said, this has the potential to be a historic bullpen
  9. The Sox are about as cautious as any organization in baseball with their pitchers. I'd be shocked if he throws more than 90 pitches.
  10. as if they're gonna have him out there long enough to throw 114 pitches...
  11. as if he's gonna come back and actually discuss the topic...
  12. I can live with him sitting at 92
  13. Daisuke Matsuzaka (0-1, 12.79) vs. Johan Santana (5-2, 1.36) I don't like the matchup at all but hopefully the Sox continue to dominate IL play
  14. Lester threw 6+ shutout innings against the top offense in the AL (yes, I know he was charged the run Ramirez gave up), it's hard to make that look pretty
  15. if Sabathia put up that line, jacko would be calling him DOMINANT, ABSOLUTELY DOMINANT
  16. ESPN seems to have really adopted that stat this season
  17. on base percentage plus slugging percentage. an OPS of .800 is about average I'd say
  18. I know that and I'm kinda glad but he makes such a stink about wanting to stay in the NL but apparently would come to Boston
  19. SHIN SOO BIG LEAGUE CHOO
  20. I think Lowell's entire season thus far is the exception
  21. amazing that he wants to stay in the NL but he expressed interest in coming to Boston
