I'd rather take a SS with limited range who can make the throws. Green and Lugo have better range but it becomes moot since they completely suck once they get to the ball. Plus Jeter can still hit
I think he was responding to the Green/Lugo debate earlier in the thread. If I'm right, then yea I'd rather have Jeter and his defensive deficiencies over Lugo or Green
I have such a hard time giving a rotation credit with so many guys having not pitched a single major league inning as if it's a foregone conclusion that they'll automatically do well as soon as they hit the show
Considering Wang missed half of 2008, Lackey missed a quarter of 2008 (with elbow problems to boot) and Hamels has had shoulder and elbow injuries in two of the past 3 years, I'd look to prior years as well
