My point of contention is that Butler hasn't proven anything at the major league level and you're trying to point out my hypocrisy by questioning my BJ Upton pick, implying that Upton hasn't proven anything. Upton had a SICK 2007 season and he's been plagued by injuries the past 1 1/4 seasons. And in 2008, he stole 44 bases with a .383 OBP. So explain to me just how I'm being hypocritical.

here's the diff... Upton is my leadoff man and he gives me a tremendous OBP with great speed, I'm not even looking for him to slug all that much Butler is one of your middle of the order power bats.....who hasn't shown a ton of power

for one thing, Upton hit more homers in 2007 than Butler has in his entire career and over his last two full seasons, he's got a .385 OBP and he's averaging 33 steals. I'll take that from my leadoff man yea, the goal is for your team to look good 5 years from now but good luck selling people on that if they haven't proven anything at the major league level
