Why are there so many random threads in the main forum???? Why do people create new threads about the same s*** over and over?? Use the search feature, most players already have threads dedicated to the individual player/story. The main forum is cluttered with crap.

I still don't care about the trade. I don't think hes very good. IF he were still in Boston, he would have been a platoon/backup OF or even in AAA. -

Trade Beckett Trade Salty Trade Ross Trade Aviles Trade the bullpen (a couple of them) If Beckett is not traded, I doubt I watch many game after the deadline. -

Here is a spoiler for next year......... They aren't spending any money in the offseason. They will do little in terms of trades. Their offseason spending is over until the Crawford and Lackey contracts expire (luxury tax, you know, because they have no money and cry poor).........and long as Beckett and Salty remain in Boston, they are still finishing no better than third.

Lackey isn't going anywhere. You forgot him. No to Johnson, hes hurt too much. No to Garza, hes no better than what we have. They have a TON of guys who they can trade and get value back for, Im not going to speculate as to who they could get......I don't really fantasize about that sort of thing. They could deal: Beckett Lester Ross Ellsbury Salty Shoppach Aviles ...and just about anybody in the bullpen. Any number of those guys could get us a return better than Garza. Beckett....and possibly Lester MUST go though. Those guys are the problem.
