I never really wanted him back on the Sox, but anyone else was better than the Yanks, I was eating breakfast when the idea was announced, and when they said "first base" I spit out my food.

Can you imaging Nomar, back in the AL East? That would be pretty cool... image this: Schilling goes out for the 7th inning against the O's, and for the final out of an awesome inning, and in the final pitch of his night, strikes out Nomar on a nasty splitter... I think that would be so cool. That is... if Schilling can ever be Schilling again... -

Did any of you hear on ESPN yesteday that David was saying things like "Manny is not coming back to Boston..." and "He wants to go to a west coast team... he doesn't like Boston.... it gave him trouble with his family" it was sorta wierd to watch what seems like one of his friends basically say Manny is going away for the rest of his career. I don't quite get how Ortiz could just go out and say all of this either.

Actually, that is true, Lee would be helped out by Ramirez, but come on! How many other times has he asked for a trade?? Too many to count, and he stayed put, I think we should keep him here in Boston.

Truthfully, I don't think that Manny will go anywhere, and really, I hope he does stay. Even if he does get distracted sometimes, we can't afford to lose such an important bat. Ortiz will see so many bad pitches, and intentional walks, that we won't have much of a lineup. No one in the league could do for us, what Manny is doing. -
I think that anyone who actually saw the play would agree he caught it cleanly, but still, wouldn't it be better to bring AJ back to the plate, I mean the Angels were pretty much off the field. That was a huge mix-up by the umpires.
