    You can't have your cake and eat it too. You mention that your team ERA is lower than ours despite injuries.......while you compare Foulke and Schilling's ERA's to Mo's. Schilling and Foulke gave up a large portion of their ER's while hurt. Both teams have had to overcome key pitching staff injuries, and while stats can tell a story, only one number matters, and it's 2.5.

    Bad day for Raffy. I doubt they will get him on perjury charges to Congress because he got caught after the testimony, and there is no way to prove he did steroids before he testified.

    Red Sox have a 4 game series with Oakland in September at Fenway; the Yankees start September with a 3 game set at Oakland.

    Papelbon will most likely go back down for the rest of August to work on his command, but expect him back up in September when the rosters expand to 40.
