  1. Manny vs. the Proctologist Hopefully we see a repeat of Manny's last AB against him.
  2. Not my problem. If you don't like the treatment of Yankee fans on Sox message board, well, too bad.
  3. Or, perhaps, because in-game emotions run high, Yankee fans can post on Yankee boards. Once cooler heads prevail after the game, then come back to resume the banter.
  4. How much bigger does Giambi's head need to get before it starts affecting the tides?
  5. Yes, good logic. Yankees fans posting = Yankees winning
  6. That's nothing new, just look at your sig.
  7. Countdown to Yankee fan posting......
  8. Nice play by Jeter. I hear he does other things well on his knees.
  9. Good game so far. One mistake pitch for Curt. BOS - 3 NYY - 1 BALCO - 2
  10. He was just barely on top of it and the topspin kept it in.
  11. Papi! Slump this, bitches!!!
  12. I'm not saying I agree 100%, but it's probably for these two reasons. One, Schilling is a FB/K pitcher so he wants a better glove in CF. Two, Harris is 5/13 career vs. Mussina.
  13. Come on now, Mr. Baseball History buff. They don't use metal bats at any level of professional ball. From the DSL, VSL, and different rookie leagues (GCL, AZL) here all the way up to MLB it's 100% wooden bats.
  14. Canadian Gray Jay* - aka Whiskey Jack, or ...... MOOSE BIRD http://www.sethwhite.org/images/summit2004/summit%20camp/dead%20bird.jpg *I'm not positive this is a Canadian jay, but it looks close enough for me.
  15. I was listening to ESPN radio here in Florida on my way back from the D-Rays vs. Sox two Sundays ago, and they had the president of the IL and Tampa's GM on the phone as they discussed this very issue. Apparently, there is reciprocity in the minor leagues, meaning a suspension in the IL will be observed in the EL, Carolina League, SAL, GCL, etc., etc. The only way to get around it is to send him to Tampa since there is no agreement between the minor leagues and MLB (the player's union is to blame for this). If he were sent up and MLB observed the suspension, he could file a grievance with the union.
  16. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that two outings in a row where he did that? Granted, both were laughers, but I think he did the same thing against Baltimore on Sunday.
  17. SoSHism.... Wily Mo, super genious.
  18. I hyphenated it when I used it. What can I say, he can't even quote right.
  19. The grammar is right: No house is fire-proof. -- No house is safe from fire. No lead is Seanez-proof. -- No lead is safe from Seanez.
  20. Would you want Youks there, though? I have a hard time taking PAs away from a guy that getting on base 43% of the time. I say move Loretta down in the order and bat Youks 2nd.
  21. Funny how that works, isn't it?
  22. Anyone else stuck watching this thing on mlb.tv? Crap, the f***ing thing is perpetually frozen.
  23. As much as I love Ortiz, Crespo is 100% right. .520+ OBP .700+ SLG That's f***ing insane. But, hey, the only two players to put up those kinds of numbers in the past 60 years were both involved in BALCO. Coincidence?
  24. Yertle the Unit is looking Daniel Cabrera-esque right now.
