  1. According to you, he gives us every game we don't win 14-3. EDIT: Not that I think this game is over.
  2. That pitch is starting to get freak-nasty. And, I like how he set it up with a slider for a called strike. Three very good pitches? I can't wait until he's starting next year.
  3. I'm not saying that YES's camera coverage is bad, I actually like how they cover the game from different camera angles. And, I do agree that they are very fair in their coverage (unlike Hawk Harrelson). I just can't stand Kay, and it has nothing to do with him working for the Yankees. I've been unable to stand him for years ever since the first time I saw him on the Sports Reporters (before I knew he worked for YES). There you go Paps!
  4. In defense of ESPN, their job is to report on the most compelling stories from all of the sports world. YES just reports on the Yankees. Big difference. I'd rather listen to Berman and Morgan than Michael Kay any day of the week and twice on Sunday (and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday).
  5. Wow, that pitch was about 6-8 inches off the plate. Nobody has been getting the black all night, and then he calls a strike there. Just wow.
  6. This is a match-up I've been wanting/waiting to see. Farnsworth, all heat, vs. Nixon, a great FB hitter (from RHP). Let's go Trot!
  7. Good call. You know your boy.
  8. Wow, that 1-2 was damn close.
  9. I don't doubt he catches it, but I do doubt he turns in mid-air to make the tag. Maybe two runs don't score, but Loretta is safe at 1st with one run in.
  10. Giambi has better hands than Cairo? Ok, and back on planet Earth....
  11. And the other shoe continues to drop. Well, at least the luck factor is evening out.
  12. No you don't Riv. If you are going to rail on the Sox for letting stars walk, then you have eat your plate of s*** when the Yanks keep them around and this happens. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
  13. heheh, Bernie.....good comedy
  14. I'd be surprised if he came out for .... Pena - RH Mirabelli - RH A-Gon - RH Youk - RH Loretta - RH Maybe Joe starts the inning with him, but I think he's gone after the 1st base runner.
  15. Should have sent him. I hate it when they are passive on the base paths.
  16. Can't kill him until those pictures of Torre naked with a llama are found.
  17. Aloha.
  18. Sturtze vs. Manny? Is it Christmas?
  19. Loretta's gone from hitting .207 to .277 in 8 days. I told you guys he was hitting the ball right, but it just needed to find a hole.
  20. Youk! I'll be pissed if he gets moved down to the #8 hole when Coco comes back. He deserves the 2nd spot in the lineup. TANYON SIGHTING! TANYON SIGHTING!
  21. So, Proctor in the 6th. Does that mean we get to see Tanyon "I have pictures of Torre naked with a llama" Sturtze in the 7th? A-Gon decides to suck less. Hey, another base-runner to strand.
  22. 9:30 takes 35 vicious cuts with his bat naked in front of the mirror - screams out loud "Dougie is going deep tonight" Make it so.
  23. Yeah, I was thinking he might just have a little effective-wildness going on when he isn't missing horribly. Clement does the same thing from time to time.
  24. Trust me, I'd make you my bitch in a math competition. Wow, 16 whole ABs? How about these numbers.... Whole Career: .314/.386/.461 -- 6167 AB Career RISP: .292/.385/.400 -- 1272 AB Looks like the same player minus a little pop to me, yet the myth sill lives on.
