    Josh Hamilton

Probably break camp with the Reds? You mean definitely. If he doesn't break camp with them, then they have to give him back to TB. Johan was a Rule-V pick too.
  2. I'm not impressed with Green, Florida's PG. They've got three guys on the court that are 4" and 40# bigger than the biggest for J St., and he's chucking 3's when none of them are set down low. f***ing think, man. Who's the dude having a seizure in the stands?
  3. And they flop almost as well as a World Cup soccer team.
  4. Joakim gave quite a few bracket owners a sphincter shudder there when he turned his ankle a couple of minutes ago. This Jackson St. team is really well coached.
  5. One-and-one, chance to tie it with 4.9 left...brick. That Illinois team is one hell of an undisciplined bunch. VT pulls it out.
  6. He will be, but you won't get him.
  7. And the waiver wire scramble begins. See Red needs some help in the OF, so he'll get him if he wants him.
  8. I've watched less than a handful of NCAA hoops games this year, and when I heard VCU was athletic, I knew Duke would lose. So, that helps my bracket, but I've got 4 misses thus far, but only one S-16 team.
  9. Really? That's surprising. This is the worst Duke team I've ever seen. And, this was the exact type of matchup they would fall too. They can't hang with athletic teams.
  10. Mmm'bop, a dicky-down a doo-wop.....
  11. Best I've ever seen him play. Maynor has sack. Ballgame.
  12. Check the lugnuts. The wheels are about to come off for Duke.
  13. He is, but he's carrying them in the second half. I'm skeptical it will last. Eventually, the bad decisions and inability to handle pressure will come.
  14. I see them losing this game. This is exactly the type of team that gives them fits. Athletic and ball hawking. To put it bluntly without my PC filter, this Duke team is too white.
  15. Too late, I editted it before I saw you post. Although, I can see the need to Oliver Perez from time to time. EDIT: "see" - I can't type tonight.
  16. I guess this team just can't hit Oliver Perez in ST. He's got 7 Ks through 4, and he did something similar last year in ST.
  17. Greg Paulus is terrible at basketball. Easily the worst PG I've ever seen at Duke.
  18. Sox vs. Mets Beckett vs. Perez Gameday It's on MLB.TV too.
  19. No, it won't look bad. It will look like what it is, a team addressing their needs as those needs change. The last thing in the world that should happen is for a team to turn down an opportunity to improve itself because of some psuedo-pride.
  20. I have a feeling when their streak ends the prediction won't.
  21. No, I wish I could find some time for ST this year. It's tough with work, school, and a family that includes a 3 y/o and an 11 m/o. I'll get down there before I leave the Sunshine State.
  22. The point of bringing up the 95 wins is that a solid team going into the season with question marks in the bullpen will still win some games. I liked our offense better then, but I like our rotation a whole hell of a lot better now. Nobody will be as good as Pedro, hallowed by thy name, but it's a lot deeper. This team will win a lot of ball games, and they have the whole season to identify and correct problems in the BP. There was only one RP that I wanted this offseason, and they missed him. That happens. Don't get your feathers ruffled Fred. If nobody can get the job done early in the season, they'll make a move, like they did in '03. All they need to do is get this rotation in the playoffs, and from there, watch out.
  23. Oh, I agree. He's easy to have fun with. I just don't think he's serious about Tavarez and is only doing it for the reactions. And you are dead right about his predictions. He's kept telling us how badly the Lowell and Loretta acquisitions were last year stating that their poor '05 performance was the beginning of the end for them. All I can say is that I'm glad he's warning us about Romero against the Yankees because that means he's lock to be a thorn in their side this year.
  24. Why do you keep responding to those taunts? He's obviously doing it to get a rise, and you keep obliging.
