  1. I sere what you are saying, and I had the new rule mixed up in my head. They get to pick the schedule, not the opponent.
  2. But what makes you different then, if that is all you were saying? My comment still applies. You don't need to look any further than the mirror if you were just commenting on fans rooting for known cheaters. Unless, are you telling me you don't root Giambi when he's at the plate? I don't think that's the case, and your reaction when I mentioned it suggests you are full of it with this excuse. You wanted no part being lumped into the crowd you were trying to poke fun at. You'll have to come up with something better, or just admit what was pretty obvious.
  3. He referenced the fact CLE and LA are tied before the "if", so he's making it dependent on how they finish relative to each other. He's not aware of the new rule.
  4. And not every Giants fan excuses Bonds, nor has every Pats fan excused Belichick. So, what's your point? You tried to make a smartass comment, but instead made a fool of yourself. It happens.
  5. Why look that far? The mirror ought to work with some Balco on your team as well.
  6. If things break right for you? There are no breaks, if the teams finish as they are now, with the Sox having the best record, the Guardians and Angels tied, and the Yankees as the WC, then where you go is entirely up to the Sox. For a guy who thinks he knows so much, you miss on facts a whole lot.
  7. Speed on. A gapper wins it.
  8. And another swing and a miss, also called a Jacko's Special Needs Prediction.
  9. Anyone think Brady likes having Moss on the team? And just think, they get Seymour and Harrison back in a little while. Stacked.
  10. Did anyone catch the jowl shake on Tubby when he was shaking pitches off? Cripes, he has more jowls than a blue-tick coon hound. Tubby has a weakness too, they are called Ho Ho's.
  11. I don't get the bunt. I have no problem playing for 1 run here, but Lugo is as likely to strikeout against Tubby as put the ball in play.

And, how bad is that Cincy D? Baltimore s*** all over themselves last week giving them 6 turnovers, but now they have allowed 27 1st half points to Cleveland.

The Ain'ts have returned. 21-0 Tampa at the half.
  14. Not for nothin', but saying we own Lackey and not minding facing him is textbook Jacksonian Nonsense 101. He thought the same thing about Beckett, and as today showed, good pitchers can spit out a gem against anyone. Lackey is a good pitcher.
  15. Dusseldorf's FB is taylor made for bombs. Not too fast, not too slow, not much movement, just right.
  16. Idiot fan. Kick that f***er out for life. Nice, Hinske.
  17. I don't think the goal is to discourage it. I'm pretty confident in assuming this goes on all over the league, and I think if you got the commish to be honest, he'd tell you he's pretty sure of the same. Where the problem was is in the fact that they got caught last year, were warned not to do it again, the rule was put in place over the offseason, and then they blatantly did it again on Week 1, using the same guy and all. Belichick basically told the commish to go screw by doing that. Hence the punishment, which was fair if you ask me.
  18. Probably, since he doesn't throw a splitter. Genius.
  19. I'd love to see some outside the box thinking here. Kielty hits much better RH, and historically, because of the cutter, Fruitbat tends to get hit harder by RH batters. Kind of like how some switch hitters will bat RH vs Wake. Nevermind.
  20. Ball 3, Ted. Gotta give up that love for the eye high stuff.
