That's actually not the refs being pricks. The league specifically told refs to throw a flag for actions involving the ball between plays, and to penalize them for delay of game. It's been called a lot this year.

Sure it is, if you look for it. When one team is the only one getting calls, I tend to think the crew is only looking one way. Right now, there are 6 points on the board that are there due to PI calls, bad ones. Overall, Indy is playing the better game, but field is tilted.

You don't really believe this, do you? UC can be called on 50% of the plays, on either team. When they are all one way, I think that says something. The lopsidedness is remarkable in this game. One penalty to 8 is farcical.

I think the Pats need to hope SF can keep tanking and get someone like McFadden in the draft. Maroney runs like a pussy.

No it wasn't, he was using it to create space. He could have used that hand to go for the ball.

Bob Sanders is one hell of a player, but that was no play to fawn over. He laid out because he wasn't going to get there quick enough. A hard runner, something Maroney's happy feet preclude him from being, gets around that for the marker.

Strange decision by Moss. He had position to go after that ball with 2 hands, and he probably would have made the catch.
