You know, we hear about what a great sports town Denver is because of the passion of the fans, and for the most part I agree. They are nuts at Bronco games, and when the Av's were good that was a tough house to win on the road in the postseason. But, the fact that they need the organist to get them to start a "Let's go Rockies" (which they didn't sustain when the organ cut out) with runners on down by one with their backs against the wall has to kind of add a perspective point for those that try and quantify which towns are the best sports towns.
So, the new Yankee manager is in the house at the broadcast base desk, huh? And, he's former Rock. Win it to start his tenure off right with the Sox on top of the world.
Kind of trivial thing to get your panties in a bunch about, don't you think? Besides, I wouldn't call counting math, but then again, I'm not in Louisianna, so if that's what you learned in math class, apologies.
Interesting choice. He's a more polarizing guy. I wonder how this impacts player signing decisions. They'll publicly state it doesn't matter, but we all know it does.
Egads, he caught up to one. That's like Crisp getting a hit, Lugo doubling, Tek laying off the high cheese, have we slipped through the wormhole and hit bizarro world?
