Where do you get that he isn't patient?
His IsoD is .095 in 1000+ MiLB PA. In 3 games he's taken the count full and been rung up on complete horseshit called strikes.
JHB mentioned in another thread that perhaps the umps are being evaluated against Pitch-fx. I certainly hope so. On the strike 3 call to Lowrie, Laird set up off the plate, had to move the glove further off the plate, and it still got called.
Through 19 games with roughly equal playing time.

BtRuns is from BB-Ref. It's linear weights (in runs) relative to league average. For those unfamiliar with LnWts, it is a system that applies a run coeffecient to every offensive outcome/event.
Just for a laugh, Lugo's BtRuns this year is alreay -3.4. I hate that bag of douche.
I recall reading that. As you said, it was the "rumor". Whoever initiated it is of little concern to me. What's important is that he's elected to return to what works.
Write it down, on 4/19, Lugo did something right by not trying for 2 when he held the ball there. Might not happen again all season, so we need to record it.
He's actually throwing strikes tonight, which I suppose is nice, but the strikes he throws are easy ones to handle. Like I said last time he pitched, until he start commanding the ball around the knees, he's going to suck. Get well, Bartolo.
Hansen should get an opportunity to help the MRP corps before they mess with Masterson's development as a starter. They've ditched the attempts to clean up Hansen's mechanics and are letting him do what he was doing at St John's. The slider is reportedly back, as is the sink on his FB. The results in Pawtuckett look promising.
Why are we supposed to care about what the Twins would have done?
EDIT: As for the end of the season, I can certainly see them topping off his innings for the season in the Boston BP when the rosters expand.
How consistent does he need to be to be an improvement over Lugo's 6 errors in 17 games? Is it because he bobbled that ball? I've see Lugo do that, but Lugo doesn't recover and make the play anyway. Instead he throws is 4 rows deep.
I know this won't happen, but Lugo should have lost his job today.
