  3. Solid game by Casey No surprise here, Bryan Corey has been DFA'd to make room for Timlin. The bullpen now looks like
  4. Lowrie being called up, looking forward to see what this kid can do in his majors debut. The Sox will give him some chances at 3rd base
  5. Went to the game yesterday, just what a great home opener. Besides the ring ceremony and the unfurling of the banner, Bill Buckner coming out to throw the first pitch really was something to see. The standing ovation really had emotion to it. Doesnt matter much, but here was the matchups for the opener. They are updated from the results of the game

  12. Somedays like this, I cant wait for the emergence of Jed Lowrie
  13. The bullpen in this series continues to s*** the bed. Yes Manny D just leave a hanger for your first pitch against the slugger Thomas. He makes Beckett line look a hell lot worse than it actually was
  14. Beckett last season vs Toronto in 3 games, 2-1 with a 2.35 ERA. At Rogers Centre in 1 game, 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA. On the road in 13 games, 11-2 with a 2.18 ERA Halladay last season vs Boston in 5 games, 1-3 with a 5.94 ERA. At home in 15 games, 11-1 with a 3.12 ERA
  15. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/2008/04/snyder_designat.html Kyle Snyder has been designated for assignment. Sox already have a good option in Tavarez for the long man. Next up will be the decision when Timlin comes off of the DL. The top 2 candidates to be sent packing are Bryan Corey and David Aardsma
  16. No its just a minor glitch that happens every once in awhile
  17. 18. Plus Halladay, even though he is a stud, looks pedestrian when he faces the Red Sox
