  1. Very cool. Entering tonight, Lowell and Youkilis were a combined 0 for 21 against Bonderman... both take him deep
  2. Damn back to back games of having walkoffs , first time since almost exactly 3 years ago against the Athletics (HRs by Millar & Varitek). Also cool both tested the arm of Vernon Wells
  3. Ortiz has been scratched from tonights game. Plus Brandon Moss has been called up because yet another injury to the infield. A DL trip could now be in the cards for Sean Casey
  4. Yuck, Pedroia has had 2 very ugly swinging strikeouts today. That last one was at his eyes
  5. My god finally over. Lopez was crap, he has been being used a lot by Tito. Part time set up man he is not. Im guessing MDC is still having some after affects from the flu. It took 3 batters for Oki to find his bearings before getting the last 3 outs.
  6. lol intentionally guerrero to load the bases with no outs... despite the first 7 men now have gotten on base EDIT: Stop the Presses, the bullpen has recorded an out
  7. Good job pen, you took Masterson's chance at his 1st W away Wake me up when they are able to get out of this inning
  8. 5 straight balls... 6 1 run game, still bases loaded no outs. Now its the top of the order
  9. Lopez in the 7th, throwing no strikes Walk to the lefty, kept into face right Izturis and promptly gives up a single. Both on 3-2 counts. Now Delcarmen is called for
  10. Its all about nerves with his big league debut, plus earning strike calls from the ump. I was at Papelbon's debut and he walked 7 batters
  11. What a debut for the kid! Good bet he'll kiss the minors goodbye once he gets called up again at the end of the season
  12. Jacoby in right, Lowrie at 3rd, Coco back in the lineup, Tek is still sick
  13. So glad I dont work Thursdays, the current top pitching prospect (not named Buchholz) is in Boston! Masterson's Double A stats 4 starts (1-0, 0.95 ERA)- 19 innings, 14 Hits, 2 Runs, 5 Walks, 23 Ks Teams: Anaheim Angels vs. Boston Red Sox Location: Fenway Park, Boston Date/Time: April 24, 2008 at 1:35pm EST TV: NESN Starting Pitchers: http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_434578.jpghttp://bellsouthpwp.net/c/h/chinigor/TALKSOX/VS.GIFhttp://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_475416.jpg http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/logos/38x45/ana_38x45.gif#51 Joe Saunders http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/logos/38x45/bos_38x45.gif#63 Justin Masterson
  14. Let the good times roll!! 16-7 Feeling good about tonights game, Matsuzaka looking for his AL leading 5th W 10 straight games of scoring 5 runs or more... and we're getting Mike Lowell soon
  15. That would be the potential 2008 ROY going deep for the 2nd time tonight!
  16. What a game yesterday. Buchholz pitched his best game of the season thus far, and the offense without Casey, Varitek, Manny were still able to pound the Rangers for 8 runs... I love this team Next up the Angels Josh Beckett vs Jered Weaver Daisuke Matsuzaka vs Jon Garland Jon Lester vs Joe Saunders
  17. With Jose Vidro their current best option at DH, Ill be surprised if Seattle doesnt make a run at him
  18. There's Lugo again trying to catch a ball that a teammate has already called for. That teammate, Jed Lowrie, is making a hell of a debut so far!
  19. Pedroia with the day off, Lowrie at 2nd
  20. Manny! MVP! The bad man is on pace for a 51 HR/170 RBI season Oh and Happy Birthday to me, some good luck afterall
