Papelbon is speaking like a little bitch, as if he is being dissed by the Sox because they are following the status quo. Im sure the Sox already marked down when to speak with him about possible extensions when the arbitration process begins. The Guardians locking up Sizemore and the Rockies with Tulowitzki (each 6 year deals) after their first official season could have set a precedent

Agreed Jacko. Him signing an extension for below the market value put him in the bed he made. Theo has the best DH in baseball locked up for 4 years/$50 million. It is in the best interest to wait until '09 or '10 to determine his worth after he is 34 years old -
