    He doesnt turn 24 until May, thats one key factor Career total (154 games) 132 for 506 (.261 avg) 26 Doubles, Triple, 14 HRs, 59 RBIs, 66 Runs, 50 Walks, 149 Ks Now thats from being used on an inconsistent basis. Id like to see what he could do if given a full time gig in Boston

    Ive heard Nick Carfado suggest the Sox would go for New England native Rocco Baldelli. That would be a great defensive outfield of Bay, Ellsbury, Drew and Rocco.

    I was thinking that myself. The Sox are looking pretty good with a set up corps of Delcarmen, Ramirez and Oki before Papelbon. Does Masterson still open the season in the bullpen? Do the Sox stand pat and give hime the 5th starters spot? Or as you suggested, would he be part of a trade (Salty?)

    Jacko you gotta accept the fact that the depth will be definite trade bait if they sign 2 or 3 of those pitchers In terms of Pettitte, his agent doesnt want a pay cut from this past season's $16 million

    Yea Id say this came out of nowhere. Im thinking Oakland this offseason will be in a win it all now mode. Matt Hollday will be in his contract year and his agent is Scott Boras, and I dont see Beane paying for such a contract that Boras will seek. Imagine the lineup if they also acquire Giambi for DH and Furcal at SS Street was expendable. Theyve got a filthy trio at the back of the bullpen-- Ziegler, Blevins, Devine

    Good trade for the Nats, the Marlins sold low in this trade. I was hearing that Olsen couldve been used in a trade with Texas for Max Ramirez... now he's coupled with Willingham for Emilio (who wil be the backup infielder) and couple of eh prospects? Kevin Gregg is a good bet to be the next one gone from Florida

    yes!!! Lock him up for good, I truely believe he's a Craig Biggio in the making. Also wouldnt mind seeing Papelbon, Youkilis and Lester get locked up before FA comes
