Ah at least they got a run in, avoided the DP. Lowell picks up his 18th RBI
EDIT: Wow tek great approach, swing at what wouldve been 3-2. Where was that, eye level?
Jacko, youre still in the delusion that Pedroia is always a 1 pitch out player. He takes pitches, sorry that you dont like hearing that, but its the truth
Sidenote: Trot Nixon has hit his first homerun as an Indian today, a 2-run HR to help them sweep the Rangers

Cant wait for his first game back, I got tix all set. Give him what should be a long standing ovation
Animal, Wakefield will be facing Igawa on Saturday. I expect the Sox to make Igawa work and crush his pathetic fastballs up in the zone. Especially Manny, oh please Igawa leave one of your fastballs middle in to Manny ; ) Wakefield has given Yanks fits in the past so it should be a good game. That game is the clear favorite for the Sox to win. Game 1 looks like a sweet pitching duel between Pettitte & Matsuzaka. Tavarez vs Wang in Game 3... yea I'll be watching it but still should go the Yankees way.
Great win for the boys tonight. Schilling goes 7 strong innings, to Jacko's dismay, and improves to 3-1 on the season. This gives him 210 career wins, and he is 3 away from his 50th career win as a Red Sox.
Tha bats came out and were able to feast on part of the bullpen the O's spent their offseason money on. Manny inches closer to his 1000th career hit as a Red Sox. Kudos to Cora's big game, this one with a homerun! The defense rebounded from last night's debacle
Tomorrow beckett looks to become the first 5 game winner in baseball. He is opposed by Yankee killer Adam Loewen who is 0-1 lifetime (3 career appearances) vs Boston with a 9.00 ERA
Lowell is having a great start to the season. Currently riding an 11 game hitting streak as well, he has 4 HRs and 17 RBIs. This is the best start he has had since 2004. That year he ended up finishing with 27 HRs/85 RBIs
Manny!! I knew things were in our favor when saw these matchups
Ortiz vs Walker-- 4 for 9, 3 HRs, 7 RBIs
Ramires vs Bradford-- 7 for 12, 1 HR
Schilling for the 7th, Okajima for the 8th, Papelbon for the 9th
Wow jeez give the kid a break. He had been in an 0 fer type slump until tehy benched him for 2 straight games. During that time he worked hard with his hitting instructor. Since then he's been 3 for 9 with 2 Doubles, 2 RBIs, and a walk. His defense as well has been top notch. Yea he sucks!
