Now Im not saying he's going to get in Tito's face like Payton did in Texas... but Im just thinking say if is able to rebound to a Cleveland like season (.300 avg, 15 +/- HRs, 60+ RBIs, 25 +/- SBs), should the Sox shy away from lower market teams offering intriguing trades?

    True which is what I said in my previous post that he's not the same Beckett they had faced last year. ------ rotoworld Jorge Posada is also questionable to start today. It could swing even more toward the Sox's favor if Beckett has to face a lineup of: 1. Cabrera lf 2. Jeter ss 3. Abreu rf 4. Rodriguez 3b 5. Giambi dh 6. Cano 2b 7. Phelps 1b 8. Thompson cf 9. Nieves c

    His last start vs the Yankees was a win in which he went 7 innings, allowed 3 runs and struck out 7. He had 2 bad starts vs the Yankees yes, but he also had 2 quality starts against them. This is not the same Beckett from last year. If have been paying attention he's not fastball, fastball, fastball... he's now throwing his curve more and for strikes, and his changeup (83-88 range) for strikes to keep hitters off balance

    Haha with the inflated market for bullpen help... Okajima signed a 2 year deal with an option for a 3rd year, a grand total of $3.5 million : ) Since giving a homerun on his first major league pitch, he has now retired 17 out of his last 18 batters. Hmm Donnelly for the 7th, Okajima for the 8th, Paps in the 9th. I like.

    What a f***ing game Okajima is making a name for himself, look for him to get more chances to do set up and hey give the guy some more save ops when Paps has the day off Damn I must say the player of the game is Coco Crisp with a clutch 2 RBI triple off of Marian Rivera. 6 hits over his last 4 games now I believe?
